  1. Thanks JacquiO. I did a search and that was what I saw but still wasn't sure because of some other "stuff" I saw! Didn't know about the song by Cat Stevens, don't remember it. I am going to call it Summer Nights cause just can't think of anything better and I like it
  2. Yep, Grease and saw where Van Halen and Rascal Flatts sang the lyrics from the song. OK, still needing names then
  3. I don't know, will have to check and see. Thanks
  4. Actually the name of the song was Southern Nights sang by Glen Campbell so I think I am OK using the name Summer Nights.
  5. Southern Nights sang by Glen Campbell so I am calling mine Summer Nights
  6. Thanks Candlebuddy, those are some good names! Think I like Summer Nights so far! Actually I had thought of that one but you know there is a song and don't remember the name of it but it uses Summer Nights - don't know if like chorus or refrain and wondered if it was the name of the song and wondered if you could use it. Will have to see if I can find the song, it is an oldie!! Once again! Think that song is Southern Nights and not Summer Nights so that is good then!! Was wicking and trying to hum it and all of a sudden Southern Nights came out!
  7. OK, I need a name for a fragrance. It says it is blended with Teas, Jasmin, Sandalwood and few other scents. It is Moon Shadows from AH but not selling with that name so thought maybe a name change would help. Really love the fragrance. I am not creative at all so I haven't been able to come up with a name that sounds good :undecided
  8. Seamless aluminum and concave tops are what I prefer also.
  9. The Light Blue from AH/RE is very stong and true in my paraffin so I am told, never smelled the "real thing"
  10. Lone Star used to have a good one. I haven't ordered oil from them in couple of years since I have tried to find suppliers closer to home but always liked their oils when I first started.
  11. Soy will soot just as black as paraffin will if not wicked correctly, I discovered it when I first started experimenting with soy. I was really surprised because I had always "heard" that soy don't soot. Should have saved my jar for the proof :cheesy2:
  12. I have just recently started with oils from Elements and have been really pleased with them in my paraffin. Also ordered from Day Star last week and like them also. To many good ones out there!!!
  13. All are beautiful, I also couldn't pick a favorite!
  14. I don't even count in the cost of liquid dye when I calculate my cost. It is to small an amount to worry about to me!
  15. I have only used the one from WSP and smelling it and smelling hand cream it is a dead on dupe. The hand cream is BBW Twilight Woods
  16. I use a jar with a smelly jelly lid on it.
  17. I have tried those yrs ago and didn't really like them. The plus to me for the wick pin is that I don't have to keep "pulling" the wick to center as wax cooled and pulled wick with it.
  18. AH has a White Grape. I got a sample but have never put it in wax. Smells good OOB.
  19. I have the Moonworks Pat and it is really strong and the price is great also
  20. I agree with Jonsie, looks like as the wax cools they are going to move about and you would have to keep centering the wick. Also looks like it would be more time consuming have to stick them in the wick.
  21. I like Caribbean Coconut from WSP
  22. Who has the best Lush dupes? Someone was asking about them last week, never smelled them. They were also asking about Ed Hardy - is that the right name. Had never heard of him until I saw it on forum. I really need to get up to date on the newer perfumes the younger/mod generation are liking. Guess I am to much of an old fuddy duddy! :rolleyes2
  23. I use to buy some Yankee candles and don't remember about the hot throw, guess it was OK but what I do remember is I bought some pillars and those things burned terrible, in no time they had spilled over and burning very lopsided
