  1. I use Elements and it is great.
  2. Glenwood is a very very small town but the post office is less than a mile from me also. 1 traffic light but we do have a hospital, nursing home, bank, grocery store, Dollar Store & Flash Foods. Lots actually for a small town
  3. I like UPS because they pick-up. In our small town you have to take your packages to post office and that is just to much trouble I have just started using foxycart for my shopping cart and they have all that, including USPS. You just choose which you want. I am really liking foxycart so far. The one I had been using was just to expensive.
  4. Congratulations Angel!! Great write-up.
  5. JokerJen you can set up your FB page to also post what you post in FB to Twitter without having to go to Twitter. That is the way I do mine.
  6. This is mine. I had fanned most of you except 1 I think and I fanned you. This is mine: http://www.facebook.com/candleshoppe
  7. When I was talking to them several yrs ago about something?, don't remember this was 1 scent they suggested. Said it was very good/strong. I never tried it. Only order from them when I have to cause of state sales tax
  8. rebeccajo99 I think I know what you mean. I make candles for a church also and they like the 4x6 pillars but they only burn them for about 2 hrs. I have also thought of trying something like that.
  9. No, I don't have an alternate # for them, guess I was just lucky the 1 time I had to call them, think it has only been once cause I have never really had a problem with them.
  10. Sorry you are having problems but I have to say, I have been buying oils from them for several years and never had a problem with their customer service. Of course I am the type if I do email and don't get an answer I just call, with any supplier. They have even called me several times if there was a problem with order and I love their oils. It seems to be getting now that most of my oils are from them.
  11. I have one of those painters tools you get at WalMart that has the handle and blade like on the end and use that and a hammer. Works perfect, I cut a slab into 3 sections and put in turkey fryer.
  12. It will Sabrina, the reason I went to 4 was because I could make 4 from 1/2 lb of wax with a little left over and I got very tired of oneses(probably not spelled right but you know what I mean)
  13. That's OK Stella, I stay confused most of the time
  14. Don't know about the Head Shop oil but AH has one called Incense and I really like it.
  15. All I know about the difference in suppliers CD wicks is I had been getting them from Bitter Creek but needed more quick so ordered from a supplier closer, the same size CD wick and they were not the same as to the wicking and burning. So I could get them quicker I started buying them from WSP and that is the only place I buy my CD wick. I know she was asking about the CDN wicks but she also was talking about the size CD wicks she could get. I have no experience with CDN wicks.
  16. I also loved the Violet Musk but it didn't sell so didn't get more. I love the musky type scents also! A straight musk though, I got the 1 from MC and to me it didn't smell like I thought just straight musk should. What is a good musk in your opinions?
  17. Same here, don't want no fall/winter scents. Give me spring pleaseeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!! I just ordered Ginger Lime plus a couple more from Elements, had a sample of it and am totally in love with it!!
  18. I get my CD's from WSP. I buy them from the same supplier cause there is a difference in the CD wicks with some suppliers.
  19. I used to sell them individually but I would have people order 3 dz or more in different scents. I quit that and now do 4 of the same scent. I got the clams from AH that hold 2. They say you can make them in them but I don't. I make them and then put them in the clams. Would love to find some with 4. The same thing happened with tarts and so now I do 6 in same scent and use the bags with the tie string from WSP. They hold 6 perfectly. Think you could get 2 votives in 1 also.
  20. You can reuse it quite a few times. I have found that just wiping over it with a paper towel helps it to pour better when it slows some.
  21. Old pantyhose is what I use. Just cut off a piece in the middle of the sheer part and tie it over pour spout of presto and turkey melter - single layer. Works great!
  22. WSP use to have one also and man was it strong. Don't know if they still have it or not.
