    Vicky...I would say no. I bought a package of the wicks, they fit tight. Sharon...it is made out of a heavy silicone. I think it is well worth the money.

    I received my mold today. I made 2 votives with it. The wicks are really easy to put in the slots. The votives came out really easy. I even forgot to put something to hold the wicks straight...they stayed where I put them...centered. I'm really happy that I bought it. It was an impulse buy...but a good one.

    I use the 1oz. round boston amber glass bottles with a dropper lid.

    Thanks everyone. I'll take another picture in the next couple days and post it. I have this candles wrapped and tagged...will try a picture with it...might have to wait for another one to get done. That's my plan tomorrow before the Super Bowl starts.

    I'm in the process of changing my website pictures. I've decided to go with all palm. What do you think of the way I did this picture?

    I order from them alot. Good products. Their fragrance oils are strong. Fast shipping...for me...1 day to get my order.

    I don't prim my wicks, but I do twist the wick. I use hot glue to keep my wicks tabs in place. No problems...even with palm wax.

    I get mine at WalMart. It's with the cooking oil.

    I use stearic acid in my lotion base to thicken it. I melt shea butter and coconut oil, then add some lotion base and mix really well. Then little bits at a time...add the stearic acid...until it gets like I want it. Just remember if you have heated anything up...it will thicken some as it cools. Because of adding other ingredients, I always add a little bit of preservative. I only make creams/lotions for myself and my mom...not to sell.

    I'm making heart melts, heart candles, and 2" pillars this weekend. Blackberry, Vanilla Lilac, Patchouli Chocolate, Sweet Vanilla Sugar, Cinnamon Vanilla, and Patchouli Raspberry. This hopefully will finish up with Valentine Day stuff and the Red Hat ones for baskets.
