  1. Also, whatever you wrap them in, they travel quite well in shipment. I didn't have any come to me broken or chipped on the spring swap, even after all of the traveling they did.
  2. It's also good for removing those extra little bits of dried wax on the counter tops as well.
  3. Very nice, looks tropical!
  4. Very nice. Love those palm waxes, just don't like to wick 'em.
  5. I get pretty consistent results with my liquid dyes and would probably use nothing else. I think it really is a matter of personal preference IMO. I have used the liquid dye long enough that I know what to mix to get each of my colors and they are pretty consistent each time.
  6. I got mine at Linens and Things but have also seen them at Target. Personally I don't think the non-digital ones are that accurate. I had 3 that all gave me different readings in the same pot of wax
  7. Maybe this will help you out. http://www.geocities.com/lwoollen_25/FragranceFinder/
  8. Not sure they have parchment, but they have kraft. kraftkottage.com
  9. I get at least one a week. Most of them I get now are people wanting to tell me that I am pre-approved for re-financing or trying to sell me drugs to enhance my sex life, LOL!
  10. I have dreamt about candles before, but not quite like that, LOL! I remember my first job I ever had, I worked at an authorization center for mastercard and visa. We took phone calls to verify and give approval for credit card charges. I had to key in information in 3 fields. So being excited at my first job, I practiced and practiced. For several nights after that, I dreamt only in numbers, floating around in space.
  11. It does take a while to get the wicking down. I had issues with smoking wicks, so I did several different mixes of the PB and my regular soy and got a decent candle, but not exactly what I was looking for. Some of my best selling FO's would not throw well in the straight PB. I just couldn't get a good mix that I was happy with. May test it again some other time.
  12. Those are beautiful Julie, they really look like tiger stripes. Your candles are never dull, that's for sure girl.
  13. Oh, really liking those, very pretty!
  14. Pretty candle, what is battenburg?
  15. Who makes this wax? I have not heard of it before
  16. Thank you all for your replies, that gives me somewhere to start. I am going to try the RRD and also when my cottons come in, going to try them as well.
  17. KY makes an awesome votive/pillar blend. It has excellent hot and cold throw, no frosting and sets up nice.
