  3. I'll be glad to but it will be late tomorrow before I can post. I have to be gone all day and they are in my workshop, not my house. They are clear glass, kind of like a sugar container, with a silver screw on lid that has holes in the lid. They used to have them on the tables at places like Pizza Hut. Sound familiar??? Will post a pic tomorrow evening. Nancy
  4. Sounds like you've got it covered but I bought some parmasean cheese shakers at the dollar store to use and they worked great.

  6. I've been busy the past coupl week making candles for Valentines Day but nothing looks nearly as impressive as yours. I LOVE the rose petal embeds!!!! You did a terrific job and I wish I were one of your relatives receiving one of those beauties. NancyT

  8. I have recently obtained quite an inventory of this wax and haven't started working with it yet but was wondering if any of you use it and how it works for you. The person I got it from was using it for both container and votive candles....would you use it for both? Feel free to e-mail me if you'd like. Any and all comments, advise, suggestions, help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, NancyT
  9. Very cute towels Texas Brat. I've been using my machine more lately too and really enjoying it. Someone asked what type machines people have so mine is a Husqvarna Viking and I love it but don't know that I would buy it again simply because any of the addtional programs are so expensive. The machine is great and does so much but I do think they could bring the cost down some on the add ons. NancyT
  10. I think they look pretty good....how is the scent? I'm anxious for you to use a bar so you can let us know how it lathers. I love lots of bubbles. Keep up the good work DeJae. NancyT
  11. I would love to try this recipe but am wondering if anyone knows where I might find citric acid locally. I want to try to make them as favors for a bridal shower next week so I will have to work fast. Thanks, Nancy
  12. Jane have you ever considered using the little muslin bags with the aroma beads for your sons? I'm not sure if the beads might stain the muslin or not but it's worth try. Just a thought. NancyT
  13. I'm like DeJae. I run recipes through the soap calculator but I'm not real sure what percentage the hardness; cleansing; bubbles; etc. should be. Is there a chart or listing somewhere or is it just kind of personal preference? This is probably not the place to post this but does anyone have a recipe for a nice baby soap? Forgive me for asking if there is one already posted. I just happened to think of it while I was posting. I'll take a look. Thanks, NancyT
  14. Toni as with anything else we sell, it depends on your area. I am in a rural, somewhat depressed market area and I sell mine for $12 without any extras. If I add a tin plate and pip berry garland or potpourri or something, they will sell for $16-$20 depending on how much I add to it. HTH NancyT
  15. I don't know where you're located but if you're out west, try Not Just Fragrances in NV. I know she has some just not sure of the sizes. HTH NancyT
  16. My vote goes to Not Just Fragrances....super great seller.
  17. A friend gave me some Cargill C-3 to try so I poured it this morning with pearberry fo. Now I get to let it cure before I can test. Do any of you use this wax or have an opinion on it? Good luck on thos 80 pillars. That's a huge order especially when you don't care for the fo. I'm sure you'll be glad to get them done and out of the house. NancyT
  18. Nope britishgirl those aren't anything like the ones I do. I'll take a pic and try to post it. I don't normally post pics so I hope I can figure out how to do it. NancyT
  19. I love all these ideas. My son is getting married in September and I am making the table favors. I am making votive roses (kit from consultant corner)which I have made before and are always a favorite. I really like the idea of the 4 oz tins in the acetate box with matches too. Keep the ideas coming....I might change my mind and make something different. NancyT
  20. Don't ya just love it when that happens!!!! I need to find that website too. Hope you had a great birthday and I'm sure finding this present made it all that much better too. Happy Belated Birthday. NancyT
  21. I'm impressed and I'm sure your mom and sisters will be too. Where did you get the containers?
