  1. is anyone going to tell us where to get these? Please, oh please, please, please!!!!!!!!
  2. If your supplier does not know if the fragrances are undiluted, then my guess is that they are. Even a lighter scent should have a decent throw at 12% for heavens sake.
  3. Gotta work today, but really need to poor some monkey farts, eucalyptus, and some lilac. I only do 8 ox jj, and only a case at a time, but today is party day too, and sometimes the two don't mix well. Maybe my daughter will come over and do most of the work LOL.
  4. I wondered the same thing. I tried mixing 70 percent joy wax with 30 percent mp145. Turned out better than I thought although I should have wicked up one size. I use the zinc wicks.
  5. you should bring this up. I have been having problems with wicks I recently purchased. this was the first time I ever experienced this with the supplier. I e-mailed them last night so now I'm waiting for an answer. It is very frustrating when you have to redo what should have already been done. I mean this is why I buy them already tabbed. To save time not to make it more time consuming.
  6. The Hot Baked Apple Pie is awesome!!!!!!!! And another one that became my favorite last Christmas was Hippie Christmas. I just loved it. I have been a NG customer for a while, and it seems they beat everyone with almost all thier fragrances IMHO!!!!!!!!
  7. I will probably really get blasted for this, but if my f.o. does not soak in a few days at least, and it really is not all that bad, I make them a little juicy. Works for me.
  8. chime in too. Do what you feel is the safest thing to do. If tape is good, tape. If a new one is good, then a new one it is.
  9. I just posted this in the previous thread, but check out this place. www.shopncs.com Really cool stuff.
  10. I also noticed in a book some pretty cool wire racks, and some more things to use as displays in a booth. Check out www.shopncs.com
  11. That must really suck. My husband drives too, but he is company. thank god. Well, back to the original reason this thread started. I went to Nature's web site and just bought a case of my usual mp145 before they sell out and discontinue which is what they did with the mp123 I used for containers. Hell, I got a case of that for not much more than a slab of Michael's. Michael's can stick it. Even with the 40% off coupon that I did cut out of Sunday's sale ad it still wasn't worth it. Like I said it's not that great to begin with. The bad thing about making the order with nature's is that of course I had to order more f.o.'s, and my total ended up being a little more than $200.00. Oh well, I love doing it, and that is all that matters:rolleyes2 .
  12. I hope this hasn't been posted already, and if so I didn't see it. I went to Michaels the other day because I wanted to pick up a slab of their wax to make tarts. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the price jumped to $29.99 for one stinking slab. What gives. It's not like it is the best wax in the world
  13. I worked in a shipping department for a linen factory here where I live, and I can tell you they made money off the shipping with ups. some suppliers tell you straight up that they don't, but I will be willing to bet most of them do make an extra couple of bucks with every order.
  14. ditto here! glad to know it wasn't just me:shocked2:
  15. I have done these a few different ways. I have filled paper portion cups (ones you put ketchup in at restaraunts) about half full of sawdust (got for free at local lumberyard), then topped with wax. I have done this using cupcake tins with cupcake papers, and I have dipped the pinecones. When I dip the pinecones I melt my wax to about 130 degrees or so. That way it sticks to the pinecone and I don't have to redip. HTH. Oh yeah, the paper cups and the cupcake liners I added a short piece of cotton twine to serve as a wick to start the fire.
  16. I would try to get a refund explaining why these are not good for dipping. If they still insist they are ask them how they do it. If no reply negative feedback would be in the works!!!!!!!
  17. One from Natures Garden. WOOD. It has been discontinued, but I still have a lot left and my step daughter loves it. It's weird because at first I didn't like it, then I liked it, now I don't like it again. What can I say??????
  18. NG has a good ruby red grapefruit. My mothers fav.
  19. what is LLC? I'm pretty green to the B&B. Can you tell?
  20. Like pay attention. Last year before completely moving my supplies to the garage I was taking stuff back out when I was through with it, and bringing stuff back in to make candles. Well, I threw the black color block in the bottome of my melt pot and went to bring the block back out to the garage and get more wax. Well, I put the melting pot on the scale and added my wax, and need I say more............I forgot to take the color block out before I melted the wax. What a fricking mess that was....
  21. thanks you guys for the input, and rachf19 I love your dog just ABSOLUTELY love your dog:wink2: .
  22. hello everyone, today I got an actual real life catalog from Candles and Supplies. I don't know about everyone else, but I like to look at the real book in my hands. Do you know of any other companies that have real catalogs. Any help will be greatly appreciated. P.S. Sometimes it is easier to look at the book rather than fight for the computer. Thanks
  23. but I use my leftover f.o. and throw a chunk of wax in a jar with the f.o., and melt that. I don't want to use my tarts. I'm a bad girl:p .
