  1. Thanks everyone, I think I'll give the EO a try... anyone know of a good supplier? I've never used EO before, so another new thing.
  2. Anyone know of a good true patchouli that throws great in soy?
  3. Yeah, doesn't look like she has any listed. Her seller id is kkandles1993
  4. Thanks top. I'm off to read up on microcrystalline wax now !
  5. This wax is awesome as a parasoy mix, beautiful , burns great and has a great throw. Like Chris said though, it's very ugly all by itself and only holds 5% fragrance, on the good side, even though it holds just 5% and is ugly, it still has a very good throw.
  6. I buy quite a few fo's from candlechem, and most of them smell funky oob to me. I haven't tried any of the ones on your list though, except the cucumber and cantalope, and I love that one. You really can't judge this suppliers scents oob though, much , much better in wax.
  7. Thinking of ordering a sampler pack from Cierra, anyone know of any GREAT fo's they have?
  8. I tested this wax a lot and I like this wax, I've not had many of the smoking problems with it at all, and the mushrooms have been minimal for me, I used zinc wick, but only used this wax in 8 oz jj, and i used mostly a 44-24-18z. Testing other waxes, but this one still beats out the others on scent throw.
  9. It's yellow, yeah curiosity got the best of me. I emailed her and asked if it was beeswax , actually i've emailed her a few times asking just to bug her and she won't answer me. When I bought it her description said use 1% per pound, now it says use 1 disc per pound, one of the disks is about 1.6 oz, I believe. I tried it with 6006, but only at 1% per pound and didn't notice much except it seemed to make the wax harder, and make it shrink more. I tried it at 3% per pound and it seemed to me at the time, it made the candle smoke more, I've not tried it since. I still have some of these discs sitting in my little box so if a couple of ya'll want to look at one and see what you think it is, pm me and I'll send you a disc to check out. I might add that a couple of weeks ago I went back through her feedback and emailed 4 people who had bought this stuff from her and asked them if it worked, 1 said no, it made no difference, 2 said yes it made their candles smell better and one said it might have helped a little.
  10. OK, dumb question How do you do slanted layers?
  11. OH, I like Natures Bounty too, I like Bliss too Heck, I like almost all of those
  12. Is this it? I also found some listed in aromatherapy oils on another site, said all the things it's good for including promoting harmony in relationships, with that in mind I'd probably name it Harmony or Harmony Blend or Sacred Harmony or something along those lines. But I like the name Moon Shadow myself., everyone around here seems to like names along those lines, it's strange how different names sell better in different regions, isn't it? New to Longwyck's Exclusive List: Moon Shadow is an excellent scent blended with teas, jasmine, sandalwood, and a few other scents that makes this scent so special Thought of something else, which names seem to sell best in your area? One word names, simple names, etc?
