  1. The days of true customer service is gone. It doesn't matter who you deal with, no one seems to care. Then they make you talk to a computer, or someone who does not speak english, put you on hold, and hold some more and half the time for nothing. Aggravates the living ---- out of me.
  2. Glad you mentioned that. I just got back from BL and the school stuff was still in the place where they put thier seasonal things. I'll check back next week.
  3. If you could only order fragrance oil from 3 suppliers, who would they be. It would be nice if everyone could use this as advice instead of google or some other search engine. I have only ordered from one supplier which has been Nature's Garden. So for now that could be my only pick.
  4. They look great:) . I would be beaming with pride;) . Should probably start a small gel line. Sometimes I need to look outside the box.
  5. I think that is an awesome, awesome, candle. Don't worry about being sappy, you cannot believe some of the silly things I have saved.
  6. I know there are more places, but www.naturesgardencandles.com carries this for sure. I have ordered it from them before. Very happy with it.
  7. I use MP123, and to be honest IMO it is by far the best for containers. Some fragrances must cure a little longer to have a great cold throw, and some do not. As far as labeling, I label as high quality candle. If the customer asks what they are made of, I do not hesitate to tell them, and also the reason why I think it is a better wax.
  8. I've not been selling candles for long, so I really cannot relate, but I think if you are doing so well, maybe you could hire someone for a few hours a week. Or maybe try something new. Seems a new challenge would test your skills, and maybe you'll embark on something even better . Giving you back the interest you once had.
  9. It could have been that the person let it burn too long, and the wick shifted to one side making it too hot resulting in the explosion. I gave my daughter a jj candle, and the wick shifted, got the side of the jar too hot, and it broke. I couldn't believe it. It does happen though
  10. Couldn't you use something like a wallpaper bath container?
  11. www.bittercreek.com has a few supplies. it is the wisconsin bittercreek to click on first then you can click on the shopping cart to find them.
  12. welcome. glad you're here, and that you have a sense of humor.
  13. Finally after almost two weeks of heat index well into 100 degrees, we finally got a break. Only 80 degress here in southern Illinois. Going to venture out to the garage tomorrow though.
  14. Can anyone help me. I am looking for some cardboard display shelves with at least two, preferably 3 tiers. I seen them somewhere on the internet, but cannot remember where. All help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  15. I can relate. We all know how dangerous that was to do, but it took alot of swallowing pride to tell everyone. I appreciate that for sure. Like the saying goes "experience is very expensive" in all aspects.
  16. I add mine around 170 or 175, stir, stir, stir, and stir again, then pour
  17. I use Wal Marts brand of plastic wrap, pull out about two feet, then cut however wide I need it. After I wrap the tarts, I zap it with the heat gun. I didn't know if this certain wrap would work, but so far so good. I use MP145 for my tarts. Hope this helped.
