4. Thanks Everito . Sabrina, I haven't tried it yet. I've been working late this week so I'll have to wait til this weekend. I'll let you know how it turns out though and thank for asking :highfive:
5. Thanks Sabrina, I was wondering if it had something to do with the spray (especially at the top). I'll leave it out next time and see what I get.
6. It really is beautiful and I love the way you've made the tree stand out. I can't believe this is your first!
7. Looks great! And welcome to the board. There's enough info here to leave you without sleep for YEARS!!!
8. THanks guys...I thought someone would say it's part of the charm:D . I guess they wouldn't bother me so bad if they weren't so straight. Scented I will try my best and thanks so much!
9. I need some advise for my rustics I used 1343a, 3 Tbsp Stearic, 1 oz pp of Smores FO. I used a new mold and coated it with cooking spray (thought I wiped it out good) If you look at the bottom of the pillar it looks like it has jumplines but it is actually pinholes all in nice little rows! The top is pretty marked up too. Does anyone know how to avoid these problems? TIA, Kim
10. Thanks everyone for your responses. I really appreciate it. I probably shouldn't have put website on here because I'm not making one right now. I don't sell anything and, if I ever do, I know there's no way I would be ready til next holiday season at least. I thought maybe there were websites that sold graphics for use in labeling or websets that I could look at. The only ones I have found are Prim or country and I was looking for something a little more contemporary. I just thought it would be fun to make a label but I don't want to get in any trouble for it either
11. Right now I just want to make some labels for myself. I don't sell anything. I would love to have custom matchbooks how cute! How did u learn to print these?
12. Where does everyone get their graphics for their labels and websites
13. I'm trying to decide which scent to use for clean/water catagory. I've tried NG Clean but it smells like the orange tic-tacs to me and I've tried BCN clean cotton but it has a sharp scent in it I can't place and don't like. Can anyone give me any suggestions on scent/supplier.
14. Your website is wonderful!! The graphics/colors/logo it all looks great! The only thing that I saw (and I'm no professional so you probably shouldn't even listen to me) was the font for the line "Isn't it time for a little luxury". The font type seems a little off for that line IMHO but it really is a beautiful site and you should be very proud.
15. Maybe you could rename it. Something like sugared honey.
16. Yep, I just got the Casaba Mist in the mail today . It is a really good scent OOB but I am no good at describing scents, sorry.
17. This site lists suppliers by state. I found it on this site actually (just can't remember where:D ) http://www.candleandsoapstuff.com/Suppliers_by_State.html
18. Thanks sooo much for your replies. I really appreciate it. I have been messing around with it a little but I am worried about legal issues. I was wondering if there were any legal issues involved in using the fonts supplied with microsoft products when you sell your product. Also, I wondered if the clip art I use needs to be paid for. I've seen alot of free clip art sites but they make me nervous. Looks like I need to check out some of the sofware you guys are using. I know it doesn't matter much now, I'm just always trying to plan ahead.
19. I don't actually sell anything but I would like to make labels for the candles I give to my family. I know it won't cause any problems right now but if I ever decide to sell, I don't want to have to redesign them. Can I use any of the fonts in Publisher. Are there any places to get clip art that you can use in your labels.
20. Congrats on your accomplishment that's a great idea. Just wanted to let you know, CD's can start losing data after 5 yrs so you might want to recopy it to a new CD every couple of years to be on the safe side.
21. I'm no expert by any means but I thought this explained vybar pretty well http://www.bakerhughes.com/bakerpetrolite/polymers/vybar/candle_industry_featuresbenefits.htm
22. Hi everyone. I ran across this while I was sufing. It compares all the different container waxes offered by IGI. With all the different waxes out there, I thought this might be helpful. http://www.igiwax.com/downloads/EZPour%20Product%20Comparison%20020206.pdf
