    I did both this past weekend. Infused the whole petals in OO three times in a jar on a candle warmer over a 24 hour period, (turned it off to sleep) and then made a tea for the lye solution. Made a very pleasing pale yellow bar.

    This is a better pic, not so orange. I took these with my phone.

    I infused the OO in calendula, and also used calendula tea for the lye solution. The bottom layer was colored with paprika. Added calendula petals in the rest of the batter. Scented with 2 parts Orange Oil, 1 part Patchouli, and 2 drops each Litsea and Lime. I don't know if that's what I'm going to officially call these bars, but it does describe where I was when I was making and cutting this batch...in Patchouli Paradise.
