  1. Ok, so I had some CO from JBN and decided to play. I used ecosoya 135. I guess I didn't pay attention to the amount, cuz I added 2 TBLS pp. Then I reread the thread and thought, '...gonna be failed test #193725629498!!!!! BUT...low and behold...the two testers I made, both 16 oz Apoth, 1 Green Clover and Aloe, the other Vanilla Sandalwood, wicked differently, have absolutely NO WET SPOTS, no cracks, creamy smooth tops, better cold and hot throw, and they burn like a dream. Better than beeswax, UCA, vybar and crisco. So I'm gonna keep testing with CO.
  2. Florida Soy solutions only carries Enchanted Lites wax. I ordered a small amount to test from them, the shipping was not the quickest,CS shipping price is comparable and I prefer Ecosoya and CS service and quicker shipping.
  3. I like this idea because I love a clean looking container without a label stuck on it, but don't you still have to list the Nt Wt somewhere?
  4. I'm in Indian Rocks Beach and also order from CS.
  5. I've been giggling all the way thru this thread, but I had to come out of lurk mode for that. LMAO
  6. i ordered the Sunkissed Mango from DS. I haven't been disappointed yet in any of her oils. (Of course while I was at it I had to order some Forbidden Pomegranate and Vaniglia de Madagascar.... ) I have some Island Mango, Yankme dupe. It's not quit right. What I'm really looking for is a dupe of `ergo's mango. Anyone ever sniffed one of those?
  7. Anybody tried mango sorbetto from wsp in soy? (ecosoya 135)
  8. I have been looking for a straight Mango (no coconut, no papaya) that throws well in soy, forever....grrrrrrr Anyone have any reviews on the following? (and why the heck is plain old mango so expensive???? ) Wellington: Mango: The smooth tropical fruit – peachy, sweet with a hint of citrus. Premium: 16 oz - $18.50 Sweetcakes: Mango Fragrance:Fruity, tropical, and sweet. Delightful on its own, or try blending it with our Raspberry, Mandarin Orange, or Fruity Vanilla fragrance oils. 16oz - $25.50 WSP: Mango; Smells like Mango 16oz. $27.00 Brambleberry: Fresh Mango:This Mango is a more realistic Mango than our Mango! Mango! It is fresh and green with citrus top notes, a supporting middle of ripe peaches and a sweet, lingering base of clean musk. This fragrance works well in cold process soap where the green notes really come through. 16oz-$29.28 From Nature with Love: Mango Fragrance Oil: smells of exotic freshly sliced, mouthwatering island mango. Hints of sweet coconut and juicy kiwi complete this tropical fruity treat! 16 oz., $37.80
  9. I ordered Sea Salt Breeze and Lilac on Thursday. Got em today! Just poured the Sea Salt Breeze. I LOVE, LOVE LOVe this scent! The Lilac OOB is very true! Gonna pour that one next! This was my first order from Backwoods, but there will be MANY more if the service and oil quality is this good!!!!
  10. Anyone know who has a straight, true to scent Jasmine that throws well in soy?
  11. In my case it's an expensive hobby disguised as a business....or is it...a low to no profit business disguised as a hobby? Either way...it's an addiction!!!
  12. I always say a good website is a real labor of love....lots more labor than love!
  13. As tarynjms so eloquently put it in the candlescience. 99 scent sale thead... ENABLER!!!!!
  14. I'm in FL too, and I tried the EL from the company in sanford. I personally didn't care for it, and shipping was kinda slow. I don't think they are a very big company. I get my wax from Candlescience. I too wish there was a closer supplier!
  15. Thanks for the suggestions on the Eco's. Figures it's ONE wick I don't have, LOL! I have CD's, HTP's, LX's, RRD's ,Zinc, Low Smoke Zinc, and Hemp! Guess I needs some Eco's Too! Do Eco's curl when they burn?
  16. They either tunnel,or the melt pool gets too deep. I've tried LX 12, 18, 20, 21, 22, and 24. Guess I should mention the FO, LOL :embarasse Sandalwood Vanilla.
  17. Jar Store 8 oz metro jar and Ecosya 135 - I have been trying to wick this for about a week! Grrrrrrr. Tried LX, RRD, CD...I've wicked up and down. I can't find the right one. Any Ecosoya users had any experience with this jar?
  18. What a heartbreaking tragedy. So glad you and your loved ones are ok. Sending caring thoughts and positive energy to those affected!
  19. Hi everyone! I'm looking for a Bath & Body "Partner." I'd like to be able to offer bath and body products in a select few matching scents of my candles to my customers. But candles are all I can handle right now! LOL By partner, I mean having a link or banner on my home page that says "Would you like Bath and Body products that match this scent? Click here to visit our Bath and Body Partner (link or banner inserted with your name)" I'd like a reciprocal link or banner. What I need are talented Bath and Body crafters who don't also sell candles. The scents must come from the same FO supplier or be a close match. My featured scents this month are Vanilla Sandalwood from Scentworks, Green Clover and Aloe from NG, and Indonesian Teakwood from Greenleaf. Your products should reflect "nature" to fit with the philosophy of MoonShadows and RainForests. I update my site monthly, and feature a few scents on the homepage, so the chances te be featured could change monthly. Anyone interested? Please PM or email me at info@moonshadowsandrainforests.com
  20. Thanks everyone for helping me with this. She really WAS a great person...one in a million. I likely will create a blend in her honor...using many of the suggestions you guys have given me. I will let you know how it turns out.
