Does BCS have this "fee"? I have never seen this before on their site. They ship very quickly for me and are the same distance away as BCN.

ICS has some wonderful food scents. They have practically no florals though. I would order from ICS more often, but they get rid of scents too often after I get hooked on them.

My shipment generally arrives 2 weeks after I place the order from BCN. I get my order in a week from BCS.

I am in the north east and I order from BCS. They ship a lot quicker than BCN, so sometimes it is worth to for me to pay the exta couple of dollars in shipping to have my package faster.

AMEN!!!! I have never copied a scent and never will. I am always shocked with the number of "dupe" scents that people do, yet some moan and groan when a photo of theirs or text is lifted from their site. Pot. Kettle. Black.

I think that hit or miss is totally different than what I meant. NG has many good smelling oils. I think that overall, the quality of pretty much every manufacturer has declined. I have oils for personal use that are over 10 years old. These old oils smell the way that they did when I first purchased them. This is not the case with many of the newer oils that I have purchased. Many change and just do not smell the same after a short while. I don't know the specific reason. I just know what I notice.

chuck_35550, I could not agree more with just about everything that you have said. The only thing that I disagree with is the blandness. Not all of the newer fos are bland from the suppliers that you have mentioned. But, they all have very similar uneventful, simplistic base notes and are nothing special.

I have never had a friend insist on seeing my work space. I would just say it is off limits to everyone- except for me.

Three transactions with this supplier and all three were awful. The products were stinking of cigarette smoke and many were dirty. Jars were scratched and soiled. Three strikes and you are OUT in my opinion. Do a search here and read up on this woman. I only ordered again because some people here honestly raving about her. NEVER AGAIN.

I don't know if the cream cheese frosting from ICS is the same one that I purchased a couple of years ago. However, if it is the same one, it smells like a very nice buttercream frosting, not cream cheese at all. I would love a realistic cream cheese scent.

I never said that it wasn't a valuable fragrance oil. I just said that I would never sell a soap that smelled like poop- gag or not.

I asked myself the very same question. I get the gag thing, but that is beyond disgusting. I would never make a soap that smells like crap- gag or not.

I like peppermint, eucalyptus and pine.

Beautiful and not too dark at all. I think they capture autumn wonderfully.

They are the closest supplier to me and I never order from them either for the same reasons.

I have never ordered from this company, but I hate hearing things like this. It is so sad when a decent company closes its doors.

I make a very nice scent using 2 parts lemon to 1 part lavender. If you want to intensify the lavender and make it dominant, do 1 part of each. HTH!

No, sadly they are not going to bring the base back. I was told a while back that the manufacturer of the base had "retired" and there was no way to get this base anymore. I was also told by NG after I had inquired that they want to take their bases into an "all natural" direction. This is why the prices were increased. NG stated that the natural bases were selling far better to their customers- which I do understand. Believe me, I like bases as natural as possible, but the ALL natural bases are not good for me. Customers have complained that the soap disappears too quickly and is just too soft.

NG has wonderful bases. I stopped purchasing from them earlier in the year when they raised their prices. My favorite base has been discontinued though.

I still think that WSP attracts hobbyists- the new, excited crafter who sees WSP's name pop up first in the search engine with an enormous selection of products. The newbie becomes starry-eyed. The newbie sees FREE SHIPPING and they are DONE searching. They think "WOW! A $30 minimum is not much at all." They are not familiar with the years of BS that this company has inflicted on its longtime customers. They are just psyched to get started on their craft. I honestly think that the experienced customer in this business is wise and knows where to shop for the best deal and most efficient customer service. The experienced customer knows that WSP is NOT the place to shop.

It is BCN that has the terrible smelling one, not BB. BCN stabilizer smells fine for the first few weeks and then it changes to something VERY strong and awful IN THE BOTTLE. This has happened several times for me and finallly I just stopped buying it. The smell goes away in the base though right away. Brambleberry has a wonderful stabilizer, so don't worry if you ordered that one.
