  1. Brambleberry sells a very good vanilla stabilizer. BCN sells it too, but it has a HORRIBLE (and in my opinion) DANGEROUSLY strong toxic-like note to it after a couple of weeks. I would never recommend the one from BCN because of this. I thought that I had completely lost my sense of smell after taking a whiff a while back and it was a very frightening experience. Their stabilizer also crystalizes after a couple of months. Just an FYI... Now about WSP... I am not a fan and the jacked up prices are the biggest reason. However, I feel that I should in good conscious share a recent experience that I had with WSP... Recently, I was in a pinch and very low on clear soap base. I had a very large order of loofah soaps that I had to ship within the week. I did not have enough clear soap base for this order and I could not use it anyway. Bases do vary and I wanted the colors to be exactly the same for each bar. For me, the base from the same supplier is critical for the same order. Anyway, no company could accomodate me without charging me an insane shipping price for speedy delivery. I understood this. I contacted WSP with my problem as a last resort. I have not ordered from them in a couple of years since they added shipping to their prices and put forth a ridiculous minimum with orders. I was hesitant to contact them, but I was SO desperate. Well, they shipped my base the same day and did not charge me anything extra, even though they were swamped with orders from their big sale. I received my base within 3 days of ordering. I still think they are too pricey for my taste. But they did get me out of a tough situation this time and feel that I should mention this.
  2. I introduce fall scents in mid-September. However, as a buyer, I will purchase whatever I happen to be interested in. I will use summery scents all year long. I love them in a hot shower. I have sold so many cinnamon and spicy scents this summer. I find that people long for winter scents in the summer and long for summer scents in the winter.
  3. It is good for you, but I am not getting why it is so restricted to Scentsy, Avon, etc...
  4. Good for you! Craft shows should just be handmade items. I don't know why it is so complicated. Crafts are crafts.
  5. I use jojoba oil in every body butter and lotion that I make, and a little goes a long way!
  6. I have tried many of BCN surplus oils. I have not liked all of them, but that was just my personal taste. All of them are very strong and well worth the money in my opinion.
  7. Lily of the Valley is an all year seller for me. I like it myself. To be honest, while I use the one from SC, there are plenty of nice ones out there. Definitely get a sample of it from your supplier. The best that I have ever used was from Tradewinds. I never smelled one like it, but it is long gone. ICS has a lovely one that I use as well.
  8. My best sellers are: Rose - SC Lilac - Brambleberry or Peaks Hyacinth - Peaks Gardenia - SC Plumeria - Peaks Lily of the Valley - SC
  9. Have a great time, but make sure that you bring A LOT of change- namely dollar bills and fives. Everyone will hand you a $20 bill. LOL!
  10. But who would even reply to such an email in this day and age? That email is a classic scam email. I get them every week from all over the place- namely Nigeria.
  11. I like Cherry Almond. I think that the urinal cakes do have a cherry almond note to it with other strong disinfectant aromas added to it. Many men probably love this smell. LOL!
  12. Some people love Cherry Almond and some just loathe it. My customers who cannot stand it ALL say that it smells like a mens room, or that it smells like a urinal deodorizer.
  13. I absolutely LOVE Cyb's Lilac.
  14. I thought that the urinal cakes scent was strong Cherry Almond.
  15. For me, I think that it simply boils does to the fact that people have a certain way of doing things. I just do not need that hassle of clashing when I am trying to make money.
  16. I would never share a booth, but that is just me.
  17. It DOES sell all year long and is very unique.
  18. Me too. I love NG's Apricot. But I have never used Daystar's Apricot.
  19. You need to have VERY GOOD signage, not just out front. You should have a bold signs in multiple directions a block or two BEFORE they reach the sale. This builds interest and prevents people from just stumbling onto your sale and blowing by.
  20. Exactly. The energy being put forth into this woman just makes no sense to me. Who cares if she buys again? I wouldn't sell to her in the future anyway. I would block her email address and be done with it. A decent customer deserves decent treatment. Even pain in the neck customers who are honest deserve good treatment. This woman is neither. Write her off and move on.
  21. Yes, it is nasty. I have only smelled this scent in samples that I have received. Not for me at all. As far as poor sellers go, Pink Grapefruit always sold terribly for me. Once I changed the name to Fresh Grapefruit, I could not keep it in stock. Go figure! What the heck was so wrong with the pink?
  22. I am signed up too and received notning. Do you know if the Lily of the Valley was their old formula or a new one? In the old one, you could actually smell the green in it without it taking over the flower petal part of the scent. Their old Pumeria was beyond amazing too.
  23. I admit that I am excited too. I have always purchased TW Select Shades, but I have always miissed the fragrance oils being gone. I miss their Lily of the Valley terribly and I probably always will. I have never smelled one remotely like it. I probably have the biggest Lily of the Valley FO collection ever... I ordered four 2 oz fragrances from them. I HOPE they are good oils, and I hope that TW is on track again.
