  1. That makes so much sense! Thanks so much!
  2. Ok, they didn't rust or get damaged in 4 weeks. Have they been used yet? Left soaking full of water the way some may treat it? Go for the long haul here. They get gross!
  3. I'm not sure, I wasn't very patient with it. Set them on a shelf for a week or two and see what happens. I use FD&C's for mine.
  4. After it rests for a week, yes. But it still takes testing each fo as they all require different amounts, just like the ps 20. I color mine lightly, but I can still see through it very well.
  5. Mine was always cloudy with ps 20, I switched to 80 and have much better results..
  6. I make 16 lb batches, and use the blue enamel covered stock pots from Wal Mart.. I love them!!
  7. I dilute it in a bit of water to make sure it all dissolves and add it at trace to try and keep as much of the goodies as possible (if anything stays at all). Too much adds a gooeyness to the bar. I use about .25 oz to a 16 lb batch. Label appeal baby, label appeal!
  8. In publisher, I open a full sheet or blank page then copy and paste everything into it. Is there a better way? Oh do tell someone!
  9. Also, it's rough no matter how much you use, it's just a rough n tough additive. For exfoliation that doesn't hurt, I use collidial oatmeal or almond meal.
  10. Gotta love that cream soap! And all that aloe will help lower the ph too! Looks fantastic!
  11. The second cream soap looks fantastic!!!!! Did you like the whole process! I love it, and need to make more also!
  12. I have the same printer, and use the transparancy setting same as Karess Krafters..
  13. But what's a tried and true recipe? Ok, my bath melts.. Lots of people make them, lots of people post they like them. Me? I hate them, it's too much oil in one bath, and it's a total utter mess. Now, if were a newbie and saw them, they might make them and sell them just like that. Not cool. Then they will have customers using a product that is a total utter mess. When the newbie could have used it one time and known they can make the product better. I honestly feel that each item needs to be tested and possibly tweaked by each individual that makes them, then if you choose to use testers, send them for feedback. Am I makin any sense??
  14. Mnhorsemom, it's more that liking it. It's taking responsibility for creations you have made. (Not you, but everyone.) Would you pour a new wax with a new scent with the newest all the rage wick and sell it the next day? Or would you burn that baby down and make sure it was safe. Every B&B item needs to be tested, by the seller, to make sure it has the desired effects.
  15. Where are you at? Now sure most of them could get it in your hands by Saturday.
  16. Ah Ha! I searched my brain, then searched the dish to remember about the gunk! http://www.soapdishforum.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=33718&hl=liquid+soap+tutorial
  17. Will try to find where I read that...
  18. Skim that foam off and chuck it in the trash! From what I understand it's supposed to be the not pure stuff. Is it clearlike underneath?
  19. OMG yes! How fantastic! And it's not dark amber like my last batches! It's really super duper light, and feels fantastic already! Can't wait to see what it does after a week! WOOHOO! TY so much for your help, and thanks for not yelling at me Grumpy for barging in on another one of your threads..
  20. Wait.. and go easy on the oils, if any. Oil kills bubbles!
  21. Hey girl, sub out the citric for the slsa.. Or 3/4 slsa and 1/4 citric if it doesn't want to dissolve. HTH!!!
  22. OMG!! Tara, you're awesome! I've got soap! Un chunky soap! WOOHOO! Will let it cool before I decide if I need to boil that extra water out.. That could take a whole extra day! LOL! How's yours coming Grumpy? Ready to shoot it yet?
