Yup.. I agree with Blaze. That's why citric acid is in lotions, liquid soaps, and shower gels, to bring the ph down. CP soap is naturally high in ph, so I can understand the reasoning for bringing it down. It doesn't use lye, as it's not an oil or butter. It doesn't fizz, as the fizzing comes from a reaction with the baking soda. I've never heard of it being used as a surfactant, but haven't looked into it either.
