I'm mom to two beautiful babies. One is almost 5 and the other made her debut on 10/18/06 at 35 weeks. I've been married for almost 8 years to the love of my life. I start homeschooling my son this Fall. I've been making candles for 3 years. Life is good!

  1. I can't for the life of me remember which supplier used to carry it. Does anyone remember? It was all the rage on the old board many moons ago. I seem to remember PamperMe (Rachel) being particularly fond of it.
  2. I've been doing it that way for 5 years! Melt in my presto, put my pouring pot on my scale, tare, open the spout on my presto, and weigh out what I need. Then I add FO and/or color, and voila. :smiley2:
  3. :shocked2: Gorgeous!!! :shocked2:
  4. That's exactly what I do as well. I can't imagine anyone using several different waxes just so they can use certain FO's! That would be very costly IMO!
  5. Oh, I know that. I've been doing this for years. I'm just curious. Thanks everyone for your responses!
  6. Way back when I first started making candles, I played with J50 and ended up not sticking with it. I've recently started testing it again, and I'm just wondering if anyone has found that it will hold 1.5 oz FO per pound? Just curious.
  7. I can't help you, but I know the subject of corn cob will give some of the old members of CT quiet a chuckle. LOL :smiley2:
  8. Thanks guys. Trust me, I know about clamshells. I make a ton of them. LOL I Just wondering what everyone does! Oh, and thanks for the compliments on my avatar. LOL
  9. Just wondering. Looking to change things up and get some ideas. Pictures would be great!
  10. I think it's beautiful soap!
