  1. Perfections as always. Now I understand how the beveled edges are suppose to look. Knowing and doing are of course 2 different things. Love them all but that violet is to die for.
  2. Both are lovely. I have a stupid soap newbie question. How do you package up the bars that have the shredded curly-q's on top without squishing them?
  3. Oh Georgia, that is so lovely. My Red Hat group never does anything other than eat. LOL We don't have a Color Me Mine around here either. Sounds like a fun outing.
  4. All I can hope for is that my morphs turn out as stunning as yours. Those swirls are amazing. I hope you don't mind but I'm printing out this post for my soap notebook. Something to aspire to.
  5. Really, really nice looking containers. Love the look.
  6. Great looking set up. Love the way you displayed the heart containers. Great idea.
  7. I would think it would be just as important that you look at your tart/candle making area and make sure you don't have any possible cross contamination issues. Someone severely allergic to nuts could be affected if you touch nuts then handle or package the tarts/candles. Kids have the tendency to pick things up to smell and could pick up the nut oils that way. Or maybe I'm just being paranoid.
  8. Sure looks like a sunset to me. Those are some seriously awesome swirls.
  9. The only flat head nails I had were too long so I just cut them down. Glad the idea helps someone.
  10. I embed tea light holders in my palm everlasting pillars. I like simple and cheap. I use Play Dough to fill the tea light holder, put a nail I have cut off in the wick hole in the mold, cover with plumbers putty and guerrilla tape. The nail holds the play dough filled tea light holder in place. Works like a charm and the play dough can be reused. Don't know if the same process would work for a votive holder.
  11. Great looking basketball candle and congrats to your niece's team. It really looks like a basketball. Did you paint on the lines?
  12. You definitely earned your badge with these. They turned out great. Be sure you folks are around when you test burn them.
  13. Do post some close ups. I love looking at everyones set up. I really like your U shape. Always seems to make the shopping experience more cozy.
  14. They all look great. I think the brown/tan ones are my favorite.

  17. Wow! That chunk pillar is awesome. The are all great but I really love that one.
  18. I use 5055 from Candlewic. You'll also need some Micro 180. Check you the tutorial I did last Sat. in Classroom.
  19. I use Krylon acrylic crystal clear satin spray and just spray the outside. I'm looking for a protective coating so the wax over the picture isn't easily scratched or marred.
  20. Good way to play with leftover wax. They are cute.
  21. Great looking soap. E has infected a lot of us with the soaping bug with that class of hers.
  22. You're not that far from Candlewic in PA. Their 5055 works great for picture 'canes. They also have the Micro 180 many of us use as an additive.
  23. What a great basket. Your guy did a fantastic job etching the glass. That is one lucky new Momma.
