  1. Use Peaks too. I've tried lonestars and there's was good too.
  2. Their site looks great! I'm glad they have the tubing on the site now. Makes it so much easier.
  3. I ran into the same problem once. I was selling some candles in a store in a lower income part of town. I was selling most of my stuff at my wholesale prices and when someone came and asked about wholesale I told her these are my whole prices. She was interested in tealights and votives. And I got the account anyway. Tell her the reason you where selling them at that price. I'm sure she'll understand your need to test the market. Also tell her how well you've been selling them and that she could get the retail price for them no problem. Just think of it this way. Are you gonna turn down a potential wholesale client. She may only want these few things now. Later she may want to buy your whole line.
  4. I don't see why not. Try it and find out.:smiley2:
  5. I voted no for other reasons. Kinda the same as mystical...I like burning candles..my customers do to. If people came in my shop asking for them, well then maybe I would. No one ever has..better for me...I hate testing.
  6. I thought it was the neatest thing. Very clever idea.

  9. Yeah I've asked that many times....They all tell me that ins is for broken or damaged items due to miscare for the package. Not heat. USPS does not have airconditioned trucks
  10. I've never made wickless ones before. It never occurred to me that thin glass would not be good thing. I'll remember that if I ever make em.
  11. I've mailed tons of candles and have only had 2 problems with them melting. That was in the middle of July and mailed on a Thursday so they had the whole weekend to sit in the truck and get hot. I now only ship Monday -Wed Just to throw this in. USPS' insurance does not cover melted candles.
  12. Mostly taking inventory. Need to make t-lights this week and pillar sets for the holidays. This is my last weekend to push my halloween stuff so I hope it all sells. I hate being left with it.

  19. You have to pay for the booth, plus they take 15% of your sales and They want you work 6 hours!!! and if you can't they want you to pay them!!!! That seems really weird to me. I personally wouldn't do this show.
