  1. I get the burners through a co-op I do with some locals here. The min order is like 5000 bucks so we all get together and buy a ton of crap. I'll let you know the next time we do it if want to join in. I only pay about .69 a peice for the burners doing it this way. And I only buy 60 at a time.. I'm so happy for this co-op deal and I think we are doing one in Jan. I sell the burners for 3-5$ depending on whether they are metal or ceramic. The oils are a pain in ass cus I have to fill the 1 oz bottles and then label them. I charge 3.50 for those.
  2. I'd suggest the jojoba beads too.. you can get them in so many colors and a few different sizes too.
  3. For MP I buy stamps them cut them off the block so all you have is the rubber part. If you have single bar molds..you can place the stamp in the mold fill with mp and then when the bar cools just peel the stamp off the soap.
  4. Finally got my lotion labels made up so I'll be filling bottles and labeling. Then need to start making my lip balm but that might have to wait since I need to make up stock of candles. And then I get to work on my catalog which I really don't want to do!!!!
  5. They look great. I love that dark green color.
  6. I don't use anything to dilute the FO. I just make sure to remind them to add water to the pot before they add any fo. I label the 1 oz bottles with instructions on how to use but like candles.... consumers very rarely read how to use it. I also drop in a little card on safety and use when they purchase the oil burners.
  7. I bought that one at sams club and decided to return. I could not for life of me figure out how to work it the way I wanted to...:rolleyes2 So I bought one at Staples for 100$ its simple and does all things I need it to. I think Office Max has the same one for the same price too.
  8. Heres one from the old board. Posted by Sandy. 1 cup baking soda 1 cup epsom salts 1/4 cup cornstarch Mix those with a wisk. Might be good idea to sift it too. I didn't color mine, but I might color this part, or color the epsom salts. Drizzle and mix well with: 2.5 tablespoons turkey red oil (sulfonated castor oil) 2 tablespoons FO Add: 1/2 cup citric acid 1 cup sodium lauryl sulfoacetate Pack tightly into molds. Unmold carefully and let dry 24 hours. Can use a meatballer, a plastic ornament that comes apart, tea light containers, a metal 1/4 cup measuring cup....
  9. Food scents don't sell well for me anytime of the year.
  10. I would buy a votivo. I'm curious to see what the fuss is all about.
  11. For me its coming down to selling my products faster than I can make them....and running a store at the same time. If I'm gonna hire anyone it would be a sales girl or guy one with accounting skills. what I really want is a secretary or a personal assistant. I alone make my products and don't wish to share that with anyone.
  12. This is for the past the year K My favorite is Green Tea Most hated. Midsummer's night Best selling. Lavender, Lovespell and Sweet Pea Worst selling. Mac Apple

  16. It kinda funny that you brought this up....Last night my Dh was talking about my candle and soap making.... and he called it WORK! I told him thats a nasty word and he should wash his mouth out with my new cranberry soap I made.
  17. When you thin it out using the aloe juice do have add any more preservitive to it?
  18. If you have a specific type of pillar you want to make I suggest doing a search here and through the old board. There is a ton of info and I know so many people have given great instructions on making their favorites.
  19. Yeah I know what you mean... Fo has to be top notch and from what I remember of it it wasn't good. But they may be better now. If you buy any let me know what you think. :smiley2:
  20. Oh and the hermit crabs. Hermit crabs are a popular thing here.
  21. Fashion purses are huge here. One thing I've been seeing at alot of "outdoor malls" this year has been cell phone people who sell accessories and plans and even karate schools are vying for attention.
  22. I love the purple one! It definetly would call to anyone. Bears aren't my thing and I usually pass up stuff that is too frilly...but thats just me:wink2:
