  1. Definitely love the tan label. I really like green but the tan really lets the trees pop better without being overpowering. plus tan would fit in great with a camping/outdoors kinda feel.
  2. Personally I like the Darker Sage green ones. As far as font color both darker and lighter font colors look really good. I think the light font color for the fragrance name actually draws the eye to the name better than the darker font. I am partially colorblind so i can't be sure what colors the light fonts are.
  3. The main issue i have wit packages being delivered to my house is the fact that my front door sits up a bit high so we have a step before the front door. Well they like to stick the packages on the step so it is literally impossible for use to open the screen door without knocking the packages off that step. There is plenty of room all around the door but they insist on putting it right in front of the screen door on the step.
  4. When placing my order i had to substitute a few fragrances cause they were not included in the sale. In fact i added those couple onto the order at normal price because i wanted to test them out.
  5. Technically it is considering if it wasn't for the sale that same amount of oils would run you probably 50$+ before shipping was added. Another way to look at it is this 20$ for 20 oils +20$ for shipping equates to 2$ per ounce of oil. That is a hell of a discount when there oils all run over 2$ an oz normally. Basically it is like buying the oils at a slight discount with free shipping if you take into consideration the per oz cost including shipping charges. My order came to less than 2.30$ an ounce with shipping included. I figured this math might help some people to understand it is not as bad as they really think it is.
  6. I placed my order a few hours ago and it is already being shipped. I will receive my order Saturday.
  7. You can find 2.5" black card stock circles on etsy at roughly $0.14 a piece.
  8. I looked at them online at several places. Most places were selling them for 20-25$ a lb in a standup ziptop bag. Some came with refresher oils and didn't. From what i gathered from reviews and all made it seem like people were buying them due to there unique shapes and sizes of the salt/crystals. I love how they look and admit the fact that they are not identical in shape and size makes them a more unique item to buy. It love the idea that it would be a cheaper way to make a scented item than aroma beads since you can buy the salt locally. I do love the idea of aroma beads as well since you can make shaped car ornies with them. Honestly i would be in trouble if i had to pick one over the other lol.
  9. Thanks, I have between 150-200$ in the 4 molds i bought. That includes the price of shipping.
  10. Here is the same fragrance in the rest of my tart shapes.
  11. Due to how detailed most of the tarts are you do not see as much of the GG/feathering in the wax. There is some in various areas tho. Just not a prominent as it would be in a flatter tart. The rose shaped tarts i make do show the effect of the wax better than the fairy, butterfly, and hummingbird molds due. Since it is mainly GG there wont be alot of feathering per-say in the wax. I am just glad i managed to get this mold to work it was the one giving me all kinds of trouble and it cost me almost 30$ with shipping charges. The hummingbird tarts are just as detailed if not a bit more so.
  12. I am not sure on most of this but given a hot enough flame it is possible for wax to catch on fire. Which is why i don't trust candles on ebay and the likes. I have seen how scary looking those candles can be I would not chance burning one as they put stuff in them that is dangerous to put in there..
  13. I have seen several 3 star reviews but i have not payed that much attention to the star ratings on all the fragrances i looked at on there. I don't pay alot of attention to the star count just what the reviews actually say. Plus i will be the first to admit that i don't post reviews on things i don't like, I just don't buy it again. One of the downsides with reviews on fragrance oils is that everyone smells it differently and the fact that they don't put in what type of wax they used. Every fragrance can one wax or another but might not work in all waxes. So if Joe Smith said it has poor throw it might of been there wax and I might overlook a great scent due to a poor wax & fragrance combo. This is just my opinion on reviews with fragrance oils.
  14. Here is my first batch of tarts that did not break. Made them with a 80% GG & 20% Feather blend. They are lilac scented tarts. Took pic with my phone so they are not the best. It was using a fairy mold i picked up online and they weight between 0.7-0.8 oz each.
  15. I am still in the wick testing stage on my candles. Currently waiting for my most recent test candles to cure. I am testing CD-20 & CD-22 atm. If CD's don't work i will have to try another wick series which means looking for another option at that point. Downside of using a 4" apothecary jar with my palm wax. My tarts are actually working out a better now that i have blended it. I am using 80% GG and 20% feather palm in the tarts. Really helped the breaking of my tarts.
  16. Honestly i don't really see how a smaller wick sticker could cause any issues since it is only there to hold the wick in place to begin with.
  17. These are the ones i will be ordering. I will be getting a few plain cinnamon fragrances as I am looking for a good strong cinnamon. The last two fragrances are for someone else. Burnin' Love Cinnamon Baked Apple HI Celtic MoonSpice Christmas Tree Garland Cider Barrel Cinnamon Styx Farmer's Market Fruit Medley Grandma's Cupboard Kettle Corn Love Spell Molten Spark Rustic Lodge Tropical Fruit Slices Volcano type Danish Butter Cookies Funnel Cake Earl Grey & Apple Birthday Cake Spiced Pumpkin Latte
  18. took a while to go through all the fragrances but i finally got 20 picked out to try.
  19. lol for those that did not understand what that image was getting at it was that for round molds you use this formula to get the weight of oils. 3.14159* x radius x radius x height x .43= oil wt Sponiebr was just having a bit of fun telling Candybee the part of the formula they were missing.
  20. I only found one company selling white liquid dye but that company has a iffy reputation so I am not gonna chance it at all.
  21. on the round mold one your non symbol formula looks to be missing the x 0.43 at the end isn't it?
  22. Yeah i saw that and was like what has that driver been smoking or taking to not have noticed that.
  23. I feel like after seeing this if you are shipping a candles wrap them in a ton of bubble wrap than stick it in a box after wrapping them in several inches of bubble wrap. As well as insuring the item in it. It seems like you need to test throwing your package out the second story window before shipping them after seeing clips like those.
  24. Ain't that the truth. I admit to being lazy but even i would not do that stuff. I can't understand why those people think that is ok. They would be the first ones to call and complain if there package was handled the same way they handle them.
