  1. I think you've got the perfect blend of mottle and rustic...altho I dont care for the top color, but who am I anyway. These candles (rustic/mottle) are ALWAYS showing up differently than we expect, and the only thing you can count on is that the more you make...the better they get! Nice job Regina.
  2. Nice job on your coloring and layers. Too bad we cant smell it.
  3. Damn Bunny...that is some nice rebatched soap there!!!
  4. I hear you loud and clear on that one. I made them once and I think 50 of the little metal holder things cost $3....then wax (everywhere but in the little metal holder) and wicks...NOT!! :tiptoe:
  5. I've used both my container and votive wax. Seemed to me the container wax took longer to melt (j-50) but lasted longer than the votive wax did (4794). To me it's a toss up.
  6. You did real good. I like the picture but agree with the Duck that it could have been a tad higher
  7. Paulette your work is always so inspiring. Glad to see you posting again you busy bee!
  8. Was it the wrinkled part? Thats where I went blank :tiptoe: LOL
  9. Those are cute! The kiddies will love them.
  10. I've used BCN's T&B and altho I use a different wax (straight J-50) I had to wick up. Very heavy FO!
  11. That would be great. I only do for personal use and $100 at a time is rough!!
  12. I did use it....and dumped it quick. I was so frustrated with that wax :undecided I switched to 4794 and have stuck with that for 2 yrs now. I love 4794. It's not a single pour (i'm not aware of a single pour votive wax existing), but as far as hot/cold throw, and the ability to get deep rich colors...you can't beat it.
  13. Here is a great website for spa supplies. Look under foot care on the second page. HTH http://www.pendergrassinc.com/relax.htm
  14. Peppermint & pine.....mmmmmm wish i could smell that. Nice combo Carmen
  15. Those are real nice Satin. Your swirl is lovely and I love the color of the spearmint one...very pretty. You should be proud girl!
  16. Thats a beautiful pillar Jen! Love the colors :highfive:
  17. No Fern honey, you didn't misunderstand WHAT....it was WHO. Siberia uses the palm! Different person with a totally different problem.
  18. Are you avoiding the use of zinc wicks?? IF NOT, do yourself a favor and get 2 sizes of wicks. #1) 36-24 zinc #2) 44-24zinc For lighter FO's use the 36, for heavy (and I mean HEAVY) use a 44. With the Lx series. a 10 or 12 should do it, if not, there has to be something going on with either the wax combo you are using or the amt of FO. Votives are not that difficult. I use one of 2 wicks for every votive/FO blend that I have and that's ALOT. I use both a votive wax and/or a pillar wax for votives, sometimes a combo of both and have never come up with any problems. I would look into the waxes that you are using and make sure that your fO load is not more than what the waxes can handle.
  19. I've had my paypal for over 5 yrs and NEVER had a problem. Can't imagine life without it. Think outside the box!
