  1. i just wanted to pop in and say that for that jar I have been using eco 10 with GB 444 wax ( i am even thinking that I may drop some scents down to eco 8s)
  2. I was more curious if there was some additive out there that I was missing since this company uses essential oils in their candles and also claims they are "oder eliminating" I will check your out suggestions, I just want really looking for a super fruit loopy sent. Flamingos lemon sounds good
  3. So I found some candles that are marketing to post owners and claim to. Deodorize the air the way febreeze does. I have smelled the candles and they just smell like the scent they are supposed to be such as lavender, they are stating that they have a deodorizing additive. Does anyone know of an uncented deodorizer that actually works? I would want to start making tins of deodorizing candles and do a pet deodorizing line ( of course warn about birds because I know that candles can potentially cause issues for birds) The deodorizing oils I have found seem like they are already scented ( like citrus fragrances), I found on at NG but that seemed to have a scent based on the reviews.
  4. From what I understand when you print with an inkjet printer the ink is absorbed in the paper It won't sit on top. Even other colors in inkjet printers aren't opaque and also most likely won't show up on the black because it's still being absorbed into the paper. You can attempt to find opaque ink. Or I bet you can get them printed from a professional printer.
  5. My next order will be from flaming and I am going to try an early grey mix :-) Is there a way to make it sweet or creamy? Starbucks makes a London fog latte and it's Earl grey with milk foam on top. I think that would be a neat candle.
  6. Good to know, everyone on the Facebook seemed so think they were all great and "best sellers". I knew I had a better chance at getting a true opinion on their scents from you guys.
  7. I asked what people suggested on the MS Facebook group and there were alot of votes for cucumber and sea salt
  8. Any up dates on scents for Maple Street? Has anyone found a must have? I want to place a order because everyone raves about thier scents on their Facebook group. And I wanted to add them as a supplier due to their location and variety of scents. Right now I have: blonde moment, pink sugar, lavender patch, cherry blossom, and bergamot tobacco. I am also looking for a fruity floral scent
  9. Love them! How Would are you printing them?
  10. I like Birch bark, or beachwood. What about Birch Forest? Or Northern Forest?
  11. Do you know how many oz they are? You could sell them as sets, I could see people buying them assuming they are around 2oz. How big is a normal votive candle? I would think that would be their competitors. They look cute,I have no clue where you would buy those. my big concern would be getting those jars at a low enough price to make money on them. You always have great ideas.
  12. Has anyone smelled Yankees market blossom scent? I've added the description. If you have any suggestions on similar scents, or possibly good scents that I could possibly mix? All so any good suggestions on a clean scent? I already have CS -English garden, lavender and lilac but would like something a little different. Any suggestions would be great, there are already some good ones on this thread.
  13. I agree with others on the fragrance load. I use GB 444 and max I have used 1.5oz per pound. You may find you dont need to use that much FO and save yourself some money by reducing it. Also along with what talltayl said I use the eco wicks in my GB soy and for most of my fragrances CSs suggestion over wick my candles and they burn too hot. Takes some trial and error to get it all down, but your pour looks nice. I love that the jars you got come with cork tops, I was looking at them for a while but don't have a need to buy jars right now.
  14. fantastic! i think i paid over $500 last year, i know mine is going to be up soon i'll need to look into this. I didnt realize they would cover candles when i first looked at them
  15. i feel like it has more to do with the amount of fragrance and dye that they use each batch, I have seen variations. one batch will be a solid rich color and then the next batch of the same fragrance will have that mottled look. It also varies from scent to scent as well within Yanks line of jar candles.
