  3. hmmmm Carole I can't remember who is now carrying Wendy's Winter Candy Apple. I was awesome. I'll try to find out, maybe Scented knows.
  4. Welcome to the forum. I agree with what Scented said, start easy. Good Luck.
  5. Hmmmm well I've been a member of the board for at least 4 or 5 years and searched for sweet cakes and come up with not much. Sooooo in the spirit of helping each other out maybe some people could list there faves instead of comaplaining about doing a search. Never know you might need help someday. Michelle, I have not used Sweet Cakes so really can't help you. Maybe you could try some samples.
  6. Very Pretty, Spearmint is one of my faves.
  7. Vicky I really like those. Nice Job.
  8. Peak's fo's are great. Most of my line consists of them. Make sure you are buying B & B safe oils. I would also buy my soap base from Peak's as well if you are buying fo's there anyway. They sell SFIC bases and they a good quaility. Butters is a mixed bag. Never used Camden Grey before. If I am buying in bulk I use Columbus Foods. Often there are co-ops for butters and oils. Keep an eye out for them. It is truly the best way to get lower prices and check out the classifieds on the board. Oils By Nature has great butters. They can be pricey but very good quality. Good Luck and get into the classies. Make sure you check out the i trader rating of the people you are buying from. Most people on this board are reliable.
  9. What kind of mold are you using? Is it cold in your house? In the winter I heat up my mold a bit before I pour into it. Try wrapping you mold in the electric blanket before you poour into it. Also I let mine sit for a day before I peak.
  10. Yep you are absolutely allowed to ask questions about specific suppliers. You would most definitely want to check out suppliers closest to you. Also suppliers that have a wide range of products to offer, one stop shopping will save you some dollars. Also check out the classifieds and the co-op section when you have access. It is a great place for new people to get supplies for a good price. Might be a good idea to decide what you want to concentrate on first. You really don't want to overwhelm yourself by trying to make a lot of products at one time. Master one and move on to the next one. Good luck. And welcome to the board.
  11. Hi Kellie welcome to the board. Yes you have entered an addiction for sure. What kind of soap will you be making?
  12. It's a good idea for many reasons. Bottom line the decision is yours. I choose to wear them.
  13. I agree with Jules Peak's is very strong.

  15. Those are adorable. Really nice job.
  16. I agree. I would use colored or aluminum bottles.
  17. Essentials By Catalina great products , they are wayyyyy across the country from me. However I have purchased some of their stuff and it has always been awesome.
  18. Ocean Green Clover and Aloe Lemon Pound Cake Casaba Mist Green Tea Lavender, very strong cut back Lilac Honeysuckle Most of my Fall Winter Scents I get from Peak's as well. Ahhh the list is just so long. Anything specific you were wondering about.
  19. I actually went to their facility when they first opened. They are fairly new. I could have gotten my jars from them , and picked them up, however I kept doing business with TVGilfoil as it was less expensive with shipping for me to buy my jars from them. Of course I was buying by the pallet. I have never been charged for samples by any company. But I was always a quantity buyer. My take on them that they were trying to go to fast, setting up, with jars, wax and fo's. Seemed a little diorganized , but I could be wrong. And as you said in this economy who knows what is going on.
  20. What is your lye to water ratio?
