    Try samples from all of the suppliers you frequent, I always did. I have favorites from a few.

    I'm going to be completely honest with you. I am not crazy about this particular logo, the bird looks kind of weird. i like the concept, I just feel like the bird needs to look kinder. Just my opinion, the concept is lost on me with this particular figure.

    I'm not impressed, I don't see any advantage to having that versus melts. I think the breakaways are just as good for mixing as the squirty wax and probably less messy and precise. ewwwww squirty wax.

    After I pour votives, I eye them and give them a little nudge while the wax is still hot.

    Try pouring @ 150 into a room temp mold. That's what I do for rustics. Nice mottled pillar http://www.candletech.com/techniques-and-ideas/cold-pour-rustic-candles/ these instructions say to pour into cooled molds, you can do that if you want, I don't. Have fun!

    Adrienne, try bringing your temp up, then letting the wax cool down before you add the fragrance. The fo is actually cooking off as you are bringing it back up to temp. Try heating to 185, removing from the heat into the pour pot , cooling it down then adding fo.

    I got burnt out too. I stopped making candles for about 4 years and just did bath and body for friends. I am at it again and enjoying the heck out of it now. Just started selling to retail outlets again this year. We will see how I feel after the fall/holiday season. Right now I am working with featherig palm pillar wax and having a blast with it.

    I sell Christmas Memories year round, it is a fave among my customers. I dont' buy other fo's from them, but I have not tessted others from them either so you can't go by me. I am a fan of the company though.

    Zincs probably a 44 maybe a 52 I can't remember. I'd go with the 44 first. Those would be good emergency candles. That's what I use, 6006 and zincs.

    Is this palm??? You need a bigger wick. What wick are you using. Palm is rugged on wicks. What is the diameter of the container??? 2 inches??

    It is possible that the oo you are using is not 100 percent OO. I had an issue with this with a batch of cp soap I did. Checked the OO , it was a mix.
