  1. Craftshows, home parties, wholesale, and my little shop I sell mainly melts, I do offer jars in my best selling scents. I do have to say when doing a fundraiser jar candles out sell melts hands down, I don't know why but they do. I'll say that Scentsy has opened the doors for clamshells but not melts themselves. I thank Yank** for making Tarts so popular.
  2. What I do to add color to my table is to add a few small decorations and a colored table cover. If it's a fall show I dress it up with those mini pumpkins/gourds with a orange table cover. If it's a Christmas themed show I have a red or green table cover with small christmas decorations. Not saying anything bad about your candles and soaps because I think they are beautiful it's just I noticed through out the years that customers tend to go where there is color is.
  3. I like their packaging but they are expensive I really don't know a person that is willing to spend $1 on a tea light, lol.. I really do love companies like this one because they drive customers right to us.
  4. I've never had a problem with their oils I just can't afford the prices on most of them.
  5. What's going on with Tennessee Candle Supply?? If I didn't have a back up fragrance company for some of their oils I would be so upset.
  6. I haven't really searched yet but I have had some people ask if I had replacements for them. I don't want to order from OBI because I would more than likely order more warmers and I already have enough.
  7. Trappeur go for it, cause I wont have the money till next week.. Thanks for letting me have first dibs though Also thanks for offering them..
  8. Yep, that's it.. They are really cute.. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You... Now I wish I didn't waste $10 on the candle, lol..
  9. I'm going to buy one today and post a picture of it. It's white, looks like the paint is chipped off of it in places and has a lid and handle.. It's really cute..
  10. They look distressed I think that's the word I want to use, lol.. My friend was at a store that had one there as a candle so I went to look they are cute but I'm not looking for the white ones per say.. They have a handle on them. TIA, Mindy
  11. Their tarts only last up to 8 hrs. The ones that I have had in the past last up to 4 hrs. the most..
  12. SOS has a really good Banana Nut Bread, a few years back I ordered from several different places and all the testers picked this one.
  13. It's gag strong at 1 oz, have to cut it down which isn't a bad thing at all Cured for 1/2 day
  14. Just poured this one in wax will let you know it's a soy blend.
  15. At first I could see them using the same old scents that we use but you would think with the millions they make that they would have their own perfumist. Then come up with new scents like B&BW or Yank**. Yes the prices are going to be way higher than ours because we aren't sharing our profits with consultants or their customers. It bothers me that he acts like he invented the clamshell but I applaud him for making them more popular.
  16. After I sent her an email and posted this I got a shipping notice. I could of sworn I paid for UPS shipping but it's going through USPS. It's been so long ago so I really don't remember. I hope she remembered that I had ordered some samples along with the Prebuy. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt because of the holiday.
  17. Has anybody received their orders? Just sent an email to Rhonda my order has been processing for a week.
  18. I didn't get an update yet but am going to email Rhonda again. I emailed her a month ago because I wasn't sure how long a prebuy would take, she responded pretty quick.
  19. Giving out samples to each seller is a must anymore, if you do a search there are several ideas on different ways of doing it. You want to make a profit too so the church should earn 45-50% of what they sell. I would do order forms candle couldron has them and you can personalize them. Usually fundraisers last 2 weeks so people don't lose interest and forget about selling. Then you will deliver within 2 weeks, that would be a week before they leave. If you sell these scents already, I would start making them now depending on how many people are going to sell, just make a guess. So then you'll be ahead of the game and will be able to deliver sooner than you thought.. Also have checks made out to the organization not you, I've noticed it's easier that way and most big fundraiser companies do that. Tell the organization that when you deliver you expect to be paid. These are basic guidelines.
  20. You would think since they are a direct selling company that makes millions that they would try to get scents that we would have to get dupes of.
  21. I've done both and it really doesn't matter in sales to me. Most people go for the look of the warmers and if they can smell your candles by just walking past your table that's what makes them stop.
