You did great for your first party. The more you do the more you'll get used to it.

I like candlewarmers.com, the bigger ones are huge for a great price BUT out of the 12 warmers I ordered I only received 6. They also take a couple weeks to get. They seem to not be able to keep their warmers in stock. Also the light bulb is different in the bigger warmers than others like OBI and they cost more. Now the smaller warmers with the plate are beautiful, the plate is bigger than OBI's. As for OBI, I live in PA so it only took not even a week to get my order and all the warmers were there. Now out of the several times that I've placed an order with them I had one lightbulb socket unscrewed in the warmer, which was an easy fix. Light bulbs aren't that costly. The only warmer I had an issue with tart wise was the square americana one, I didn't like how much hangup was on the sides of it while the tart melted oh and I did have 1 problem with the switch not working with one just traded the base with another one for a customer. Jackel haven't ordered from them, maybe some day.

This past Christmas I did, tons of people in there but I didn't see or smell anything I was interested in. It's all about the name surely not the product, I used to love them to till I made my own.

My bad, I thought they were made with soy wax.. Yeah everything is over priced with them although I understand why for the consultants.

Have any of you noticed that their wax feels greasy? I've never seen a soy wax like that, maybe they came up with their own blend.

I would limit the scents, in the past I use 8 scents max. I would add tarts because you just never know since you are making other things available. I would use the fluted ones unless you want to go all out and make decorative ones. A 6pk. sounds fair.

I luv #2, also prim is more dark country look. Maybe if you used darker colors that would work for them. Like Navy Blue, Burgundy, rusty colors.

It is a shame to be so addicted to FO's, I have several (70 ish) that are waiting to be poured into wax. Think when I start pouring my fall scents this coming spring, I'll start pouring those testers. Never know some might be great sellers just sitting there collecting dust.

I started out with the 8 oz. mason jars, then everyone else around here started selling them. Then went to 8 oz. Jelly jars so I could sell them at a decent price and still make a profit then others followed. Right now I use Reg. 12 oz. mason jars. I have tested several other types of jars but for the price I would have to sell them it's not even worth offering them.

Not into warcraft nor is anyone else in my house. I canceled the card, went to cancel my paypal account and it said I couldn't because there was a transaction going through. I haven't bought anything in days so don't know what that's about unless it's that blizzard thing, but that showed up on my bank statement so I thought that was through my bank. I don't know, so for now on I'm going to use a prepaid visa and order my things that way.

I have been following these threads since I got a call from my bank but just shrugged it off as I have been ordering from itunes lately. Now I have a $159.60 from some Blizzard online store that I never heard of. I've been using paypal alot lately, ordered from NG, Moonworks, and use itunes so who knows who could of been hacked even though I bet the rest of my money in my bank which isn't much at all that it was paypal.

Giving out samples is a PITA, costly and time consuming. What works is very detailed scent descriptions.

Got somewhat of my sniffer back and couldn't wait to try these out. So far these are the ones I like testers were made and sent out already. 1) Cinnamon and Nutmeg 2) Lemon and Orange 3) Lemon 4) Raspberry The Patch just didn't work and neither did the rose. Hopefully I can get rid of this oil. It is a shame when I first ordered it over 2 years ago it flew off my tables now nobody likes it at all. Not even the ones that bought it when it first came out.

Once I get rid of this dredded cold I'll let everyone know, I did mix some with patch can't wait to sniff them all when I can. Unless it sales like crazy, I think I'll just let that one go for good.

I am the Q Tip Queen, lol.. They are all bagged up already, just wish I didn't have this head cold so I could smell them. These are for melts, I've tried soap but it just doesn't sell that well around where I live. It's a shame I like the scent but nobody else does, I've tried to sell it everywhere and everybody just turned up their noses at it. Thank you guys, can't wait to smell them soon..
