SparkysCandles
I use CD wicks with Swan's CB3. I always use 1 oz FO pp and and no additives. Just wondering what you all use. I am definitly thinking about going back to my own blend though. I liked the recipe I had before. what wicks work with soy for you all? HookieBear
I thought you couldn't use CD's with soy?
IwantItgreen
I thought you couldn't use CD's with soy?Sure you can. For many chandlers CD's are the wick of choice for soy and soy blends.I use a soy blend, and use mostly ECO's.
moonshine
CD and CDN are the only ones I use in soy
TallTayl
I too am a CD/CDN girl, though I'm starting to love square braid cotton even more in early tests.
nursenancy
I use CD's, but I like the LX series, too. I use them in my votives. I tried ECO's but they mushroom in my tests.... Edited October 19, 2012 by nursenancy

Guest OldGlory
I use 464 wax and love Premier wicks.
MrsPacNW
Cd(n)'s, used to use HTP's have also used Cotton and Paper core and RRD's...In EL Container or Votive. Tested C3 with HTP's and they did fine together..so I'd assume CD(n)'s would be fine in it too. Do they call it CB3 now..is it a slightly different formulation? Oceangazer1
I don't mean to hijack this thread, but I was just going to post about votive wicks and soy. I want to use 464 in votive holders as an accent candle and for gift baskets. I have CD's, LX's and ECO's. I have just switched to container soy in jars from paraffin. Can anyone advise me on a starting point on wicking 464 in the votive holders? I'm thinking standard holders for now and flower pots eventually. Thanks a bunch!
