I have not had a chance to try out Scent*y yet so I was wondering. Do their tarts pop out of the warmer once the wax has cooled off, or are their tarts the kind where you have to dump the wax out while its still melted?

Hi all, I have allot of single tarts left in various clamshells. I am cleaning and organizing this week and what I'd like to do is take all these single tarts out of their respective clamshells and throw them all in one bag. My question is....will having all these different scented tarts in one bag change how they smell? I mean, the tarts mingle and all eventually have one generic smell or would they all keep their individual scent? Thanks pixie

Every time I try to make a red cp soap, the color comes out bad. I try for a nice christmas red or cherry red and I end up getting maroon, pink, mauve, or puke color. Can some of you soap stars here recommend a good red? Thanks guys

So Im moving on in testing and am going to test the htp wicks. The jar im using has a diameter of 3.1 inches and I'd like to try double wicking it. I have both cb 135 wax and gb 464. Can someone recommend a starting point for double wicking this jar with htp's? Thanks pixie

I was just wondering if anyone here uses the gb 416 votive wax for their tarts? If so, how do you like it? How does it compare to the ecosoya pb tart wax? I have ecosoya pb available to me locally but have a supplier that sells the gb 416 about an hour from my house. I think the hour drive is worth it if its a better wax than the ecosoya pb. Hi all, I just wanted to give a heads up to anyone that wants to try out and compare the walmart tarts against there own. Right now (at my walmart) they have a huge bin in the center isle filled with clamshells. They are the better home and garden brand. They are only $2 and throw like there's no tomorrow. Just though id let ya'll know since $2 is a pretty amazing price i think.

Hi bombdiggybabe, I too have been trying to get the spinning, floating, colorful bath bomb like L*ush. I've tried for about a year now with a ton of different recipes and while my bath bombs are good...they just arent as good as lush. Ive tried upping the citric, but they didnt seem to help. I can get mine to float and color the water but i cant get them to spin. Sorry i couldnt be of more help. If you ever find a solution, I would love to know!

Vanilla Stabilizer and Bubble Bars / Bath Salts

I have used vanilla fragrances in bubble bars and yes they go a very ugly shade of brown. I actually had a customer say that the bubble bars remind her of road apples!! I love my vanilla fragrances but I just dont use them anymore for bubblebars because while i dont mind the stabalizer in soap...I dont want to be soaking in it. -
Is it my imagination or are the zip lock bags I store my tarts in sucking the fragrance out of them? I've been storing tarts in gallon size zip lock bags and it seems that after a couple of months, the tarts are smelling more like soy wax then the fo that is in them. I do keep the scents in their individual bags so their is no co-mingling of the scents.

Ive been searching for a great Orange FO for awhile now. Ive tried orange sherbert from NG and I just dont care for it. Ive also tried mandarin orange from sweetcakes and its okay. Im looking for a fresh, juicy orange scent. Any recommendations? Thanks pixie
