Miadrianel Candles
Is it chunked inside? Yup it is made with chunks....10 pounds of paraffin would take for ever to harden!

Miadrianel Candles
Well I have been testing and it has been burning well. I left the wicks untrimmed the other day and it did burn the outer edge of the candle a bit. But as long as it has it's wicks trimmed it burns well IMHO. Kawboy888
Nice looking candle. For those of you that actually like the smell of Patchouli....mix up an ounce of patchouli and raspberry together and see what you think of that scent. glint
I'm curious if you submerged the mold in cold water when you cooled it? That was what I have done in the past with large candles like these and it speeds up the time to solidify dramatically! Since you used chunks in the center, the candle hardly shrinks at all during the cooling process. As long as you heat up the exterior of the mold with a hair dryer prior to pouring in the hot wax, it still gives the candle a glossy finish. I hope that helps if you decide to make more large candles in the future It looks gorgeous by the way! LaceyCandle Making From Home
Miadrianel Candles
Thanks all for the comments! Glint, I have never used water baths before. But in the future I might have to try that to cool them off. Dunno why I didn't think of that before..I love huge candles they look awesome and will become the center of attention in any room...Dan
