SOAPFREAK
Haven't got it perfected yet but this makes (4)-3 1/2" x 2 1/2" bars. This will hold 1 lb. of oils to make them 1 1/4" thick. It is perfect for those little 1 oz. bottles of fos that you want to test or use up.I am hoping to sell these once they are perfected. It looks huge but it's 5" x 7" x 2". I think I will make these 1.50" deep instead.

Barbara AL
Luminous, you don't need a wooden box for it since it is so thick and nice quality. I do put it in a box lid so I can move it after I have done the swirls.Barb
soapbuddy
So how big is each bar of soap once cut?
SOAPFREAK
So how big is each bar of soap once cut?Ever so slightly less than 3 1/2 x 2 1/2.
Barbara AL
Soapbuddy it is just a tad under 3 1/2 by 2 1/2 I think the Master mold had to be sanded to get a smooth mold and I think 1/16 of an inch is off on one side of the mold.So if I use 18 ounces of oils at a 33% lye solution I will get 1 1/4 inch thick bars.Barbara AL Edited November 22, 2010 by Barbara AL
