Georgia
This summer has been too hot and nasty. It has finally cooled off and I was playing with hot wax all weekend. I had almost forgotten how much fun it was! Here's some pillars that came out of my pot.The blue are Dryer Lint (Clean Cotton). The teal and brown are Calm (a blend) and the brown, rust and green are Eternity for my niece that just got married (they have some flaws, but I was experimenting). Thanks for looking! Scented
Actually, I love 'em ... where are the flaws?
Georgia
LOL on the back side! You remember how bad I did with your wave class...I don't know why I thought I could do the spikes. There are some bad craters there. :embarasse
Scented
Spikes? You mean sticking something down the side of the mold and adding a different color?
soapbuddy
I love the blue! It looks like ocean waves!
musicaworld
Beautiful colors. The blue ones are the best but the last one with contrast colors also looks great !
caradelrae
Very pretty, but i really love the Dryer lint...Im such a blue nut!
Jojo T.
I love all of them. The blue is magnificent, it looks like ice on the top going down to deep deep ocean blue. The effects on the others are fabulous too. I love contrasts, and you have some great contrasts there. Well done!
Ring of Fire
Lovely candles! Perfect burn, great job.
heirloomoriginals
I like the first two the best!! I bet they smell so clean and fresh.Steph
Georgia
wow..thanks for all the nice comments. I did like the blue set best, but I can't stand the scent. LOL Calm is an aromatherapy blend and it is a very clean scent. That one I like. And, yes, Scented I stuck a skewer down the side of the mold after pouring the first color. The second actually looks better than the first try so I might be able to get good at that technique.

tonyalc
I LOVE how that square pillar is burning, great job on wicking and very pretty too! The first set, in blue, is just breathtaking! I really like the efects you got on those! Very nice!

grama
Very pretty pillars Georgia. Those are the kind that always give me trouble. I just never can get things going in the right direction. The first ones are my favorite I think.
I love candles
They look great! I hope mine end up looking that good someday!
Scented
And, yes, Scented I stuck a skewer down the side of the mold after pouring the first color. The second actually looks better than the first try so I might be able to get good at that technique.pour a layer, push in stick, wiggle a bit ... if wax is too cool it won't go where you want it to. Add a little more color if you think you need to type of thing, because it can disappear fast. Hope that made sense, cuz I know what I'm trying to say lol.
