candlebean
oh my gosh! I don't make soaps yet, but you have inspired me! As a non-soap maker, I need to ask - how did you make the seeds? May be a stupid question....those are just so cool I can't wait to learn how to make these soaps (or any soaps). Thanks for sharing!
magsglass
Okay, I just looked at these again and I *seriously* want to take a bite out of one. I gotta ask...did you lick 'em?
Brenda
Poppy seeds! Just a few tossed into the traced soap, candlebean. No licking happened magsglass - don't want a soapy tongue! Sniffing will have to do until I can wash with it!

Brenda
Thanks for all your wonderful comments. It's been almost a week since I made the watermelon soap....and the colors are starting to "muddy", getting a dull cast to them that spoils the realistic effect I was trying for. So this is a soap I won't be selling. What a disappointment-there weren't any CP reviews for Peak's Watermelon FO yet on the Scent Review Board, so it was a risk. It smells great, but is starting to look like watermelon that's been left out on the picnic table too long! (Anyone know where I can get a great smelling watermelon FO that has NO discoloration?)My soap has had a reverse beauty make-over! :rolleyes2
