Fern
I've tried a few different suppliers for a true, lilac FO. They all seem to be sickenly strong and incredibly artificial smelling. Anyone know of a Lilac that smells as close to the real thing as you can get?
katy
I love Peaks. But you have to cut it back allot. I use a 1/4 oz per pound.HTHKAty

tootie04
KY or Peaks, both smell the same to me. Either one is strong and smells like the real thing.Patricia
Jordan
We like Js's version. Our customers say it is identical to the flower
Fern
Thanks Guys! Jordan: I got JS's Lilac and OOB it's got that artificial smell...I guess it does better in wax?
Sharon in PA
We used Peak's last year, aand this spring we tried MC's Lilac Breeze-it's been selling amazingly well w/ the floral lovers!
mystical_angel1219
Hungarian Lilac from RE- its in the Chermark Line. Most realistic lilac you can buy.
DENISE72598
Hi Fern,Just poured up a bunch of Lilac from C&S. Selling like hot cakes....errr....hot lilac....LOL!! Very authentic, just like my lilac bushes out in the back yard.
SuzieE
ICS has a White Spring Lilac that is a true fragrance. I use it in soy and paraffin and my customers rave about it.Suzie
gerrie
I tried a lot of lilac FO's and had the same thought as you. ChrisR told me to try Genwax a few years ago, I've been using it ever since. I got a sniffie from Scent Works, really liked it so I ordered a bottle, but I didn't put in in wax yet, only in B&B. I sell more Lilac (from genwax) than any other scent this time of year. KFTS
Hungarian Lilac from RE- its in the Chermark Line. Most realistic lilac you can buy.Yep, I second that one.
Cetacea
Yep, I second that one.Third.C&S's is also very nice, but RE's Hungarian Lilac is a dead ringer for Lilac. Speaking of, in about a month they should be blooming here....maybe that's why I can't sell Lilac in WI? People are sick of the scent going into summer...LMAO.HTH
dixylight
I think KY's is pretty true...smells like my lilacs.
Mnhorsemom
I have some of Peaks lilac. I did cp with it and it was very strong. I am just now testing it in soy. We have lots of lilacs around here in the spring and the Peaks is pretty close to the real thing.

Myhannah71
I like the Lilac from KY and my customers like it much better than a few of the others that I have tried. I don't think it has that "fake" flower smell, even oob.Laurie:)

Meridith
Hungarian Lilac from RE- its in the Chermark Line. Most realistic lilac you can buy.I ordered that one on Friday. I've never used Chermark FOs but was ordering some of the SNC FOs that RE now carries when I saw that one and had to put it in my basket. BCN used to have a wonderful Lilac on their clearance list but its gone now. I've been looking for another replacement lilac since then. I hope this is the one. hewells
I use the White Spring Lilac from Southern Scentsations. It smells just like the flower. I am not a big lilac fan, but I have to say that I have been burning some new testers with this FO and I really like it.
lvnmt
The scented bean has a really good lilac. Its soft and true to the real flower.
