TeresaT
I just wanted to take a minute and introduce myself. I've been on the forum for several months, but haven't posted before. Luckily, I found this forum when I first decided to look into candle making. I have learned so much from all of your posts and tips, and I love looking at everyone's creations in the gallery!I started on this adventure last Fall, and I think now I'm ready to start sharing my candles with family and friends...and maybe selling a few. Thanks to all the great info from you guys, I have already checked into insurance and got a great quote. Now to jump the hoops of setting up a business structure. I don't have grandiose ideas of making lots of money at this (although i wouldn't object to it). I just want to make enough to cover my budding FO addiction. Here are some pics of a few I've made. I'm still working on a business name/logo, so these have plain labels for now. These will be Christmas gifts for family. Any input would be very welcome. Thanks for letting me be part of this great group!

SliverOfWax
They look very clean. I'm oh, so partial to candles in tins.I would like to see them filled a little more. It would keep it from looking like you skimped and ran out of wax. Other than that, nice.Oh, and I love, love your puppy. Dolphin146
Great looking candles. But I would fill them up a bit more. Love your dog
lmc
Welcome! They do look great...smooth tops, centered wicks, bright colors, love the tins...agree with above posters that a bit more wax will complete the look
TeresaT
Thanks everyone for all the input! I agree I need to pour them fuller next time. I'm getting ready to start playing with my new Presto pot this week, so that will help since I'll have more wax melted at a time. :smiley2:And thanks for the compliments on my puppy. He's my baby and completely spoiled rotten.
Justjasen
Welcome to the board. I really like the smoothness and colors of your candles (and yes like everyone else...just put a lil more in so so they look more filled hehe). Your puppy is so cute. I love dogs - don't have any of my own due to hectic work schedule (wouldn't be fair to the dog). Keep up the great work!
