  1. I make the fluted tarts too, and I have silicone tart molds, but these sell the best by far. Everyone loves the crumbles!! I love them for mixing scents! The blue is Blueberry Muffin, and the other is Bonfire Bliss!
  2. I was wondering about the Sugar Cookie.... I think my order is changing!!
  3. My order is still the same, except I added some Earthen Oak, and demoted Autumn Embers to a sample. I'm going to test it and try it against Bonfire Bliss and hopefully pick 1 from the 2! I'm hoping Fall Festival is as amazing as it sounds!!
  4. Might have to look into that coal scent, I live in the middle of coal country so people would probably love it. Has anyone seen little pick axe molds? Or hard hats?
  5. Both are super cute but I especially love the owls, their my favorite too because they remind me of my granny!! Your a very talented lady, truly amazing work!
  6. I didn't know they made such a mold!! That is awesome!!
  7. I'm not sure the maker, I got it from ebay about 3-4 months ago, I think it was from Candlechem, but I'm not 100% sure, but yes, it did throw!! It even fooled me! My DH and oldest son thought it would be funny to light the candle before I woke up, on a day I had to fast, none the less... :rolleyes2
  8. Don't feel bad Moonshine, PB was a major fail for me too. I switched to KY Tart blend and I love it!
  9. I saw those!! I want one so bad, but I really don't "need" another tart burner... maybe one of mine will have an "unfortunate accident"!!
  10. Me too, but I have a 14 year old that will gladly break it up, weigh it out, and put it into baggies for me.... I'm blessed like that!! lol
  11. They have 12 lb slabs for $20.76, I'm going to wait until tomorrow and order since they will be offering a discount.
  12. I would say that's not nearly long enough, I try for 24 hours, but like for them to go longer.
  13. No one is offended, and the purpose of this forum is so we can swap secrets, recipes, and get advice, and you will find everyone has a different opinion, there is no general consensus of which wax/wick combo to use, which FO's have the best throw... what works for one may not work for another, hence the relentless testing... testing.... testing!! We didn't mean to offend you, but there is no way we can give you help you to accomplish something in 2 months that has taken us years.
  14. I've never made my own mold, but I do own votive molds that have a wick hole in them. It's a very small hole, and fits around the wick snuggly. I've used them several time and never had a problem!!
  15. Haha, mine would be completely for a gag gift!! Like the skunk, and Bacon, everyone loves my Bacon scented candles!!
  16. This is my first time ordering from Moonworks, so far I've picked out Autumn Embers, Fall Festival, and Enchanted Spice, but I'm sure that will change before Saturday!
  17. LOL SERIOUSLY! I have been making candles for well over a year, and recently signed on for a *small* fundraiser that I was horribly unprepared for, and ended up in the hole... There's no way to get everything together for such a feat in 2 months. I'm sure there are candle companies in your area that would be happy to do the fundraiser for you.
  18. Those are adorable!! I especially love the cowboy ones too!!
  19. That's what I'm doing today, looking at other methods of "grubbing" and just experimenting!!
  20. Nope I dipped them from scratch, hung them to dry, then covered them in Modge Podge, rolled them in a mixture of ground cinnamon and coffee, then dipped them in wax that I had dyed a touch darker! It worked out well because the scent it Vanilla Hazelnut Coffee!!
  21. My first time trying hand-dipped "grubbies"!! Turned out awesome, just a little on the short side!!
  22. Kelly, my boys like it, if nothing else I'll put it up for them to use in their rooms! It is a nice change from all the rich bakery scents. TallTayl- Uh yeah!! Was that AH/RE? I just started using them, but I really don't want to have to switch again!
