  1. I don't make them, but I know they have 2 oz wax in them, and in my area they sell for around $1.50 each.
  2. I'm waiting for my package... not very patiently!! I have family coming in, a birthday party, football game, family reunion, church, and school shopping to get done before Monday, so today will be the only day I have to try out some new scents until then, if I have to wait I may bust!! I plan to order the Celtic Moonspice in my next shipment, and I will rename it. I just don't think the name will appeal to the market I sell in.
  3. I've found the same with 444, I wasn't really disappointed with it, but it didn't have me jumping for joy either, so I thought I'd shop around a bit!! Every candle I've poured has had wet spots, which drives me nuts, and I always have to heat gun the tops, which doesn't bother me, but if I can avoid it that would be great! Thanks for the input!
  4. I'm making the switch today from 444 to 464, and I was wondering what everyone thought of it? Any tips for those that use it?
  5. I haven't gotten this scent yet, it is on my list for my next shipment, but yes, if I carry it I will rename it!
  6. Love this idea! I don't do the scent shots, but people in my area do, I do think the look a little less than professional, but they seem to be selling like crazy around here!
  7. I think the scent shots would not only save time, but they would save space too, it's hard to neatly stack/organize bagged tarts.
  8. http://www.craftserver.com/forums/showthread.php?5492-Supplier-Abbreviations-and-Links Here you go! I'm new too, but I think this is pinned in the Fragrance forum!
  9. Up until now I have been ordering from ebay, but I got stumbled upon the AHRE site looking to get some more Amish Spice Loaf. I will be going back, that's for sure!
  10. I'm going to have to check into this! I have been using a small glass bowl, and washing it after every scent. Can you use the small dixie cups, or does it have to be the plastic cups?
  11. Thanks y'all! I will most definitely give you a review! I've got Amish Quilt, that I bought on ebay, in the burner now, my first time trying it, and it is amazing!! I have never had a scent last so long, I will without a doubt be going through AHRE from now on!! Is the Oak Barrel Cider anything like the Hillbilly Homebrew? That is a really popular scent for me.
  12. This is my first fall making candles and tarts, and to say I'm excited would be a HUGE understatement!! :yay:I just placed my first order with Rustic Escentials, I ordered the fall/holiday sampler pack, and I'm planning on ordering some molds so I can make some cute little fall tarts (melts)! The scents I got are Apple Harvest Festival, Falling Leaves, Pumpkin Pie Spice, Christmas Past, Warm Vanilla Nutmeg, Gingerbread, Flannel Sheets, Southern Pecan Pie, Toasted Marshmallow, Frosty Pines, Zucchini Bread, Santa’s Whiskers, Pumpkin Cheesecake, and Bonfire Bliss. Are there any other fantastic fall scents that I need to try?!?!
  13. www.rusticecsentials.com has one called "Burnin Love Cinnamon" that is supposed to be super hot! I've not tried it but I am dying too, I love a hot cinnamon!!
  14. I'm new to the forum, and to candle making. I have several silicone molds, some I use often, and some that I don't. How do you store them? I noticed they were getting a little flaky, I think I remember something about conditioning them, but now I can't find it! Any help would be much appreciated!!
