  1. Hey me too!! I make mostly tarts, then candles, grubby potpouri, car air freshners with aroma beads, and pretty little primitive tarts!!
  2. I will, I've heard so many great things about them!! Edited to add: Checked out Cajun, although they have a ton of FO's I want to try out, the shipping was a bit pricey for me. I ordered from Candlemakers store and saved almost $10.
  3. Oooh I've never ordered from them! Going to see what other scents they have that I can try!!
  4. A friend of mine has asked me to do some candles for a baby shower in a couple of months, so I'm hoping to cut out some testing time, can anyone reccomend a great baby powder FO??
  5. I went to pick up some new wax to test, but guess what...they didn't have any! So I got a slab of M38 and a bag of their blend to try again, the same 2 waxes I started out with!!
  6. I've read some pretty good reviews, enough that I am going to go tomorrow and pick up a slab for testing. Here we go again!!
  7. Tri-State is the only place I've seen it, and the only posts on here about it are like 2 years old, but everyone raved about it then!
  8. I haven't used my local supplier since I very first started, but now that I will be within walking distance of them once a week, it would be best for me to start getting my supplies there, but they don't carry the wax I am currently using. Also I am sooooooo tired of testing and testing and testing this GB wax and getting the same mediocre results, it's got me pulling my hair out!! I'm thinking of going with IGI 4633A for containers, and IGI 4750A for tarts and such. I have done searches on the waxes, and come up with some good info, but on the 4750, I can't find any recent mentions. Does anyone still use this wax? Anything I should look out for? Or anything else you would suggest that http://www.tristatecandlesupply.net/ carries? TIA!!
  9. I got my first order from Vista, and I ended up selling both warmers I had ordered for myself and had to order again! I decided to go with JD wholesale, because they have the mix and match discount, as where with Vista you only get the discount if you order so many of the same ones. I was right about these warmers, they seem to be a hit! I'm still debating on the Candle Warmers brand, I just don't think they will go over as well, because of the pricey bulbs.
  10. I make a "fixins" blend of scented rosehips, cinnamon sticks, birch cones, and orange Putka pods, I put it in a cello bag and tie with a piece of homespun, its about 3 cups, and it sells for $8. I'm looking for some different things to replace the putka pods for a winter mix, but right now it's selling faster than it can cure. People love the fixins!!
  11. Not sure, I get it on ebay. ETA... I just did a google search and found it at NG.
  12. I use Rustic Escentuals, I like their KY blend for my tarts.
  13. I don't use peak, but I just looked through their waxes. Ecosoya Pillar Blend looks to me like the best tart type soy wax they have. I know some people use it and mix it, try doing a search here on the forum for Ecosoya PB and see what you come up with.
  14. That's pretty much it, but 464 is a container wax. It wont do aso well with the tarts.
  15. I'm pretty sure the smallest you can get is 1 ounce. I know just about everyone on here has a ton of 1 ouncers sitting around that we just cant stand to put in wax, I know there is even a recent thread about it!
  16. Glad to hear!! I think I will like them, everyone in my area carries the punched tin warmers, so I think I'll be different and carry these!!
  17. I ordered a couple from Vista Wholesale, they are the same as JD's. They should be here in a day or two. I have the punched tin and ceramic style warmers in my house now, I ordered 1 hotplate, and 1 plug in, figured I test them all out so I know what I'm selling and how they perform, then I can make an educated decision on what to carry!!!
