  1. Just as soon as it warms up a little, I'll run out to soap shop and take a pic.
  2. Thks, Rae! We cut so bad with a mitre box and I think this really adds to the product. This spacing will give us a 1+ width bar after cure. We use wooden molds and I don't mind lining them, but I just don't see how we ever made it without our tank. Carole
  3. Our 1 1/8" tank came in last week. We just cut 12 #s of soap :yay: What a beautiful piece of equipment! It was sooooo easy and all our soaps are uniform & gorgeous. The 1 1/8" alignment was perfect. Carole
  4. Manufacturers know what ingredients go into the FO, one ingredient that is not safe and the whole FO is NOT skin-safe No, they do not test it on themselves. Carole
  5. They are now called "Diamond Dye Chips." http://www.moldman.com/ Carole
  6. I personally don't care for them. We try to make candles which burn with as small a wick and as clean a burn as we can get. They can really blaze up when lit and the noise/crackling makes me nervous. I think they are a novelty not worth fooling with. IMHO Carole
  7. They moved to Canton, Tx in November. They WERE in Mesquite. Canton has a huge flea market/trading area. Maybe they moved there. The info I posted was from an email informing of the move. Carole
  8. I got this email in November. Is this the #s you are calling? Our Toll Free number is temporarily out of service. Verizon is working on the problem. Our direct phone is 903-567-4535. We have moved our office to 113 East Tyler Street Canton, Texas 75103.
  9. My Liability Ins Co requires a warning label. That's a good reason beside all the obvious. Carole
  10. Brenda, you do know about the reset button on the top/back of the heater? Carole
  11. 3 2/3# wax, between 7.5 and 9.5% FO = 1 batch (13 6oz tins or 6 11 oz tureens or a combination of the two.) All recipes based on this amt. I usually pour 20-30 batches a day. Carole
  12. If you have Academy Sports in your town, they have the Turkey Fryers just like MasterBuilt on sale thru tomorrow for 49.95. We bought 2 more and I am determined to fry a Turkey before it becomes a wax melter. :yay: Happy Thanksbiving! Carole
  13. I buy many of my FOs direct from a mfg. They come in a plastic pour bucket which holds from 10 to 40#s. This is the largest quantity I buy. What are you going to do with that much FO? Carole
  14. For votives use a CSN 5 or 7, nothing larger! I don't think unscented will make much difference in palm. Carole
  15. Stella has posted a link for CJ Robinson. I know they just had a huge fire this summer that consumed the whole plant. but I have bought a pallet of palm from them and they are great to work with. I think they only sell by the pallet. Carole
  16. Just found out why site not working for me and it is too unreal. Won't explain it, but it is the Verizon wireless modem connection I use. Just CRAZY!!! Probably dumb, but where did I spell fragrances FRANGRANCES? I totally believe you. Thks, Carole Just found it, you're correct, I don't spell very well. lol
  17. My website has been down since Tuesday. Anyone know anything???? TIA Carole
  18. Never saw that scent at BCN?????? Sorry, it's a brand new one.
  19. Can you get J223? I think it is interchangeable with 6006, at least it is for me. Carole
  20. We've been using this fo for yrs, now it doesn't want to burn no matter how much you wick-up. Anyone else having problems with it? Can you suggest a replacement? TIA, Carole
  21. Just wipe out or invert in oven and wipe out with paper towels. We have never washed out a pour pot with soap &water. Carole
  22. Mix it with 1/3 223 or 6006 and you will not have any problems with tarts and t-lites. You have to repour with votives. Carole
  23. Those are decent wholesale prices, min order $100, couple weeks for delivery. The labels are very yuck!
