  1. Our PO said the Express Shipping was not guaranteed 1-day and was about as fast as Priority. Carole
  2. They got in touch and we fxd it. Beware of virus advt in Firefox. Carole
  3. Thks, Vicky and Sliver. They are still selling but their contact info for problems has been disconnected. They used to have a support forum. G O N E ? ? Edited to say "link worked just now." Would not before. :yay:
  4. Where the heck have they gone? Need problem taken care of. Thks, Carole
  5. CSN5 works perfect for most of my votives (just made 140 for a wedding.) I use feather palm. When 5 is too small, I go to CSN7. Carole
  6. If your not getting a FMP in the dbl-wicked till the 3rd burn, then you are under-wicked. How does the hot throw compare to the single wicked? My guess is that it is the same. Carole
  7. I agree, so much depends on the FO. Be careful not to over estimate the burn-time. Two wicks burn twice as fast. An 11 oz tureen dbl-wicked burns about as long as a 6 0z tin. Carole
  8. Started making candles 10 yrs ago, added cp and B&B products 5 yrs ago. All sell well, but other than fundraisers, we sell more soaps, B&B Jan - August. More candles Sep-Dec. I use most of the same FOs in all products so can buy in larger quantities. I love our soaps, but prefer making candles. Carole
  9. Well, I've been making candles, soap & B&B for almost 10 yrs and this is the 1st I've heard of vinegar being in FOs. Why would it be in gardenia? Bug
  10. Where are you seeing vinegar? I would say green-like, salty??? Carole
  11. Gulf Tides from BCS is the best for candles. I don't know how it would do in soap, B&B. Very salty! Carole
  12. There was a discussion on another forum about it. No longer stocked by So. Gardens but 25# bucket can be ordered if there are enough takers. I loved it for cp soap. Carole
  13. Dussek Cambell owned the formula for 6006 and sold out to IGI years ago. I would say the wax is at least 8 yrs old, probably older. Firestarters? Carole
  14. I've also used a blueberry in my clamshells. Add it just as it hardens, only 1. Carole
  15. That used to drive me crazy until I started coloring the candles light brown and added a blueberry imbed to the top. Problem solved. Carole
  16. I had a customer who loved the scent, I bought it and I put it in mp and lotion. She said the soap smelled too medicinal and was not impressed. Carole
  17. Patchouli Raspberry from MW is great in parasoy, palm candles, and makes a wonderful cp soap. Carole
  18. I still love your magic horse! Welcome back. Carole
  19. I advertise my 6 oz tins for 30 to 35 hours. Unless it has a big wick and burns really fast, it usually makes 30 hrs. I pour my tins almost to the top. Carole
  20. Tins will not warp. They can get out of shape if bumped, hit, like during shipping. I always look at the roundness of the tin before I pour. If not round, bend it! Carole
  21. I let my palm pillars in a Libby glass burn all day. Twelve hrs is perfect. That's why I love palm!!!
  22. I have searched for years for Crafter's Choice. I can't find GM&H Lotion so they probably make it custom for WSP. I'm sure this is wsp's supplier.
  23. My very favorite is Karma (Lush) and Blue Sugar from Agilex. When I go out to our shop to pick something for ME, I always pick out one of those in cp soap, Frosting, Scrub and body Mist. Vanilla bean noel and pink sugar are my best sellers. Carole
