  1. I have a few more Scent Works oils: Blackberry Basil Zen Tea Linden Green Tea Green Irish Tweed Serendipity Water Palace
  2. I have a little Provence left if someone wants to dupe it. I love this fragrance too, especially in shampoo.
  3. I think with 4630 you can use up to 10% fo load, but that wax slices like butter so may be too soft for your molded tarts. I do love that wax though, it's my favorite so far, and I'm thinking if you add some stearic acid at 2 or 3 T. Per lb. Wax it could work. Maybe try a small amount and experiment. I think many probably use a votive or pillar type wax for molded tarts so they unmold with ease.
  4. Roll Tide! The colors and swirls look Awsome! Love it!
  5. I placed another order Sunday before their fragrance sale ended. They had a couple fragrances that I have been wanting that my other suppliers don't carry. I ordered 4 fo's and some other needed supplies. I received my order today and everything was packaged well. They ship the 16 oz. fragrances in aluminum bottles . All of the fo's have very good scent strength oob.
  6. Nope, never , and I've ordered several times from Fragrance Buddy and never had any mislabeled bottles or problems with my orders. Sorry to hear you had a bad experience with this supplier.
  7. Tennessee Candle has Baby Magic. I haven't tested in wax yet, but smells great in my liquid soap.
  8. Congratulations on the great sales! Good luck on the upcoming shows. I did our yearly fall festival first week in October and we had drizzling rain most all day and the turn out was not as good as previous years, but I still had great sales. My best sellers were Oatmeal & Honey Goat milk soap, Beer soap w/ goat milk, EO activated charcoal goat milk, EO sand & pumice Goat milk, variety of fo types. I sold lots of lotions, and some liquid soaps as well. Messy day but well worth it:)
  9. You can mix it with several other eo's. For fall I like to blend it with 10 fold sweet orange and clove. Lavender, lemongrass, Peppermint blend nicely with tea tree. Some of my customers want it straight up though, but I'm not a fan of it.
  10. This is an impressive looking cutter! Makes me want to sell my heavy duty red one from Essential depot and get this one instead, lol.
  11. Thanks KK! That sweet little dog is my Boston terrier, Bella:)
  12. Thanks J! I always make mine with some glycerine too, except this time I was out. I did use a little sodium lactate though.I figured it would take much longer to reach taffy stage without the glycerine, but not much difference. I timed it from measuring out oils, Lye solution, stick blending off and on and in 35 minutes I was done. I put a lid on it and left it overnight in warm oven to finish cooking.
  13. I recently ordered 50 lbs. lye and sweet orange essential oil. Well packaged and reasonable TAT. When I ordered it was a free shipping special going on their website. Very pleased so far with this supplier.
  14. Thanks Diana! If only it were naturally thick like honey! Lol! I wanted you to get an idea how the finished soap looks, so you'll know what to expect when you get a chance to make some:) I color mine with drops of liquid food coloring except if using an essential oil or blend..I leave those natural. The FB Pink Sugar soap is already golden brown, but smells great! definately a keeper so far.. I did reserve a little unscented soap batter and used neon pink for a swirl. I used my slab mold and hoping the brown doesn't swallow it up. I don't like using glitter either. FB Sweet berrylicious is still golden discoloration, medium scent strength so far,and was hoping it would be stronger..I did use 1 oz. /ppo.. My Redwood and Cedar soaps are quite strong too, but not detecting a cinnamon note. Happy you like the Peach Magnolia Raspberry and the scent gets better with cure and doesn't fade for me:) Good luck with the upcoming craft fairs. My upcoming craft fair if juried too and barely got in, as I waited a while before mailing my application. Almost too late and didn't get my favorite spot, but hopefully I will do well. There have been at least 4 other soapmakers in the past years, but I have still done great on sales every year and hoping this year is a successful one. I'm taking a huge variety of soaps to choose from, so they won't be lacking for choices,lol..They always love a big variety:)
  15. Beautiful and inviting set up, Candybee and lots of products to choose from! No wonder it was a success! I hope your upcoming markets/events are successful as well!
  16. I made a new batch of koh liquid soap Sunday, and this is the finished soap after dilution.
  17. 4630 is a soft container wax, so I would blend at maybe 25% with either POB or the Ecosoya PB..I think it would improve the throw, but jmo and I am only an amateur . Maybe some of the experienced chandlers can advise. Good Luck:)
  18. I've been testing NG'S pillar of bliss wax,and finding I like it pretty good. I've also tested Tennessee Candle's Celestial tart wax and it seems quite similar to pillar of bliss. Nice creamy looking tarts. Last Sunday I made some portion cups with POB using a sample of NG Christmas Cabin and put it in the melter at 11 a.m. today and almost 11 p.m. now and it's still throwing scent. Pumpkin apple butter from NG is a great throwing fo..really like that one! I think it's a decent wax, and easy to use, but I am still testing others as well. I like blending waxes. I ordered some 4630 and 4786, and looking forward to testing those:)
  19. Beautiful soaps! Awesome photography skills!
  20. Thanks for the review, and I can't wait to try it! Just got this fo today, and smells delicious oob..
  21. Thanks for the reviews! I ordered pumpkin pecan waffles yesterday:) I poured some Redwood and Cedar melts a few days ago, cinnamon broom, and blueberry cobbler. Butterscotch Brulee throws great! Love it! Some new ones I ordered are: Fresh Strawberry Downy Fresh Baby Magic Gain type Eucalyptus Mint bbw (hope I like as good as Cajun Candles version) Anyone tried these in cp soap or wax?
  22. I'd like to know your thoughts on these FB oils too Puma! Royale Sugar Cookie and Coconut Cream pie are both delish and strong throwers in my melts.
  23. Checked my curing soaps and they have great scent retention. I also scented some koh liquid soap with redwood and cedar and it didn't thicken or cause it to gel like some fo's will. Smells great!
  24. I made a large batch of goat milk soap earlier using Tennessee Candles Redwood Cedar and it was so easy to soap! Absolutely no acceleration whatsoever!
