  1. Probably NG's Pillar of Bliss. I've blended it with 4630 , and like it..never tried 6006
  2. Natural coconut palm votive wax is from Millcreek. Fragrance load on this particular wax is 5-8%. It is more expensive. I used it for blending with 4786 and 4630. It is granulated, so easy to use. I liked it OK, but I prefer a parasoy like NG's pillar of bliss mixed with 4630, and also ecosoya pb mixed with 4630. These need curing a couple weeks for better throw. Many recommend 4630/4625, which is all pariffin..doesn't have to cure long.
  3. Gypsy Rose is my favorite as well, and I too buy it from fragrance buddy. It is a great dupe of Moonworks version.
  4. I recently soaped Dragon's Blood from Tamera's Soaping Scents on Facebook, and has great scent retention in the cured soap. Not powdery at all like some other vendors, and really like the strength, richness and depth. It has not turned dark brown either so far , it is dark tan( soap is 6 weeks cure),and I used beer and goat's milk in my recipe. I like a lot of her fragrances and she thoroughly tests in cp before selling. I have purchased several fragrances from her over the past several months, and all are keepers.
  5. On my last order, I ordered a sample of Ultraviolet and they sent me a lb instead. I'll take a mixup like that anyday! I've placed many orders with FB, and this was the only error, but luckily it was in my favor.
  6. I agree with Talltayl, and all of those she mentions sticks for me in cp soap. Sweet orange 10 fold is good, and clove. Clove is very potent, and can be a skin irritant.Usage rate is low. Star Anise is another EO that sticks well in cp.

    Melt Containers

Try Wasserstrom. Cheapest price i've found on the oval ellipso cups. Sometimes they offer a discount on shipping too.
  9. There's a local beauty shop that sells some of my products, and last week I took more products by there to restock and left her one of my Creme Brulee melts made with Cajun's Creme Brulee fo. The owner texted me today said it smells wonderful, and everyone that comes in comments on it, and that I need to bring some more:)
  10. Another vote for Cajun's! It is the only one i've tried though, but absolutely love it!
  11. I heard that it is a dupe of the Scent Works version.
  12. I went ahead and placed my order with FB. Decided to try these for wax: Vanilla pumpkin marshmallow Pumpkin sugared doughnut Mulberry Cinnamon broom Cinnamon buns
  13. I love Cajun's mulberry, and it's such a great thrower! On my last Cajun's order I got Creme Brulee too, and it's another favorite!
  14. Thanks Belinda! All of those sound wonderful! I have Cajun's mulberry madness and love it, but noticed FB's mulberry has great reviews as well.
  15. I plan on placing an order with FB this weekend. They have more new Lush Dupes I want for soaping, but also looking for strong throwers in wax. I'm considering these so far: Blueberry Cobbler Cinnamon Broom Mulberry How's Cinnamon Buns? Does it compare to CS? Any great pumpkin scents?
  16. They are both beautiful, but if I had to choose it would be #1.

    Testing wax melts

I have been surprised how strong some of the next day testers were, and some I thought would be strong are not. I figured all my strong cp soap scents would have a strong throw in wax but it has not been the case on a few. Thanks for the feedback!
  18. Family members are not too good about feedback, except their favorites that they want more of,lol..that's when you hear from them!! I think I'm testing some too soon, and will wait a little longer as was recommended on the forum. Yes, candle nose has definately been an issue. Sometimes I have to go outside and smell my coffee grounds.

    Testing wax melts

Thanks Ladies! I'm using the ellipso oval portion cups( Polypro) to pour the melts in. Really liking those...That is amazing Belinda that some of them are stronger after 3 years! I would have thought they would be weak after sitting that long...I must be patient and let them cure longer!
  20. I'm using an all paraffin blend for my wax melts, and was wondering how many days do you wait before testing for the best throw? Is a longer cure best? I would love to hear your thoughts and opinions. Thanks!
  21. Me too,lol..I have so many already! I'm hoping TCS's will be strong in my wax.
  22. I just made some melts using Tennessee's True Lavender a couple days ago, so will test them soon. I'll have to try CS. Love Cinnamon buns, peach nectar, blue spruce, strawberry shortcake. I'll have to try their lavender now. How about the lavender chamomile? Thanks!
  23. Maybe I have candle nise, lol
  24. I have had a problem finding a great throwing lavender for melts. I've tried 2 so far that are strong in my cp soap, but throw light in my melts. Peak's and NG's lavender flowers. I used 10% fo load too, and just knew they would be good, but nope not for me..
