  1. I'm not positive, but I think it doesn't have soy in it. CBL-130 is listed as a soy hybrid blend.
  2. I agree- management should be informed about a problem with their customer service. I recently had a good experience with their customer service. I ordered some wax (shipped) and when I got home from work one of the cases was the wrong wax. I emailed them (I don't have time to call during business hours) and someone replied early the next day stating the correct wax will be shipped and UPS will pick up the wrong case. It was here within two days. They apologized and said sorry for any inconvenience it may have caused.
  3. I have been considering making some more of them but don't know if I have the time. Also the cost of materials has gone up considerably since I made the ones for Julie.
  4. I'm still surviving. Yeah, you can satisfy Pam's curiosity. Who knows, maybe I can make some more of them.
  5. Hey Julie, how the heck have you been? It's been a while since I logged on here. How's that tilter working for you? In case anyone is wondering, I made the tilter for Julie. I checked into getting a patent, but it's a complicated and expensive process, so I gave up on going through that ordeal. Of course the price of materials has risen but I still have the drawings and patterns for making them.
  6. Wow, I didn't know they ship from PA! I checked the shipping info section on their site and it looks like they are relatively close to me. It would be great (or possibly dangerous to my checking account lol) if they had a retail store here.
  7. I tried one from AH/RE and it was smokey smelling . This might be what you're looking for. I prefer Peaks version though.
  8. I have never used that wax so I can't help you with that question, but have you considered trying 2530H from Candlewic? They're much closer to you and shipping will be alot cheaper. I bought several slabs of 2530 and I like it. I does require a repour. Here are some links to a few of my pics in the gallery: http://www.craftserver.com/forums/showthread.php?91135-1st-mottled-container&highlight= http://www.craftserver.com/forums/showthread.php?99135-Creations-from-yesterday&highlight=
  9. Only you and two other people (including Alan- he has my first design) have one- besides me of course lol. How are they holding up? Should last a while since they are all metal except the base. Still need something for votives? I have an idea for an "attachment" on your tilters to do votives. I just got a set of large hole punches and might be able to come up with something if you use the individual cups. I never did try to get a patent on my design. It's probably not worth the expense and paperwork to get one- not even a provisional patent. Maybe I should just start selling them. Seriously considering going into production lol. But since the price of metal has gone up alot over the past few years I'd have to charge more.
  10. I haven't noticed much difference on mine. I use the metal ones.
  11. I like their CBL125 for containers and 4045H for pillars. Also have limited experience with their 2530H mottling container wax. So far I'm liking the 2530 except for the "nipple" of wax that sometimes forms around the wick after burning lol.
  12. Me too lol. I only got one scent from them and it was so weak I might as well have bought mineral oil. That was several years ago and I won't bother to try them again.
  13. A little late, but here's some: http://www.dharmatrading.com/html/eng/5416995-AA.shtml?lnav=tools.html I get tie dye supplies from them.
  14. Thanks! There are tutorials online on how to make different shapes. I've been reading alot about tie dyeing since I got the urge to try it. One way to make shapes is to draw a design on the fabric with a disappearing marker and paint thickened dye on the desired area. Another way is to mask off an area with melted wax, dye the fabric, then remove the wax in a pot of boiling water. There are some resists available to achieve the same results. I did see something on making a peace sign by folding a certain way but it looks like you'd need some extra hands. And yes, you do need another wallet draining hobby. I know I needed another one lol.
  15. Georgia, I didn't get carried away enough to tie dye the cat . But nothing is safe around here if it can be dyed. :smiley2: Here's one I did last evening.
  16. I tried searching on here but didn't see any posts about tie dying. I started doing tie dye 1 1/2 weeks ago and love it. So far I have done tee shirts, dish towels, a beach bag, pillowcases, and some underwear. The mirror image shirt (V in the middle) was my first attempt at dying. It's probably not appropriate to post pics of my undies :tiptoe:. Just what I needed- another hobby/ obsession I'd love to see what other people have dyed. Click on the pics to enlarge.
  17. I bought some Wild Honeysuckle, Jamaica Me Crazy, and Kush. The Kush smells like baby powder. Definately doesn't smell anything close to what the name implies lol. I made a few candles with it but didn't test them yet. The other two smell great OOB.
  18. Yeah, that probably wouldn't be a good idea. It is skin safe though. You could make soap lol.
  19. Thanks everybody. Stella, it kind of smells like it-so I'm told lol. I do like the scent. It's very strong.
  20. LH- 4045H wax, scented Mary Jane (Peak) RH- 4045H, unscented Middle-2530H, scented Botanical Orchard & Nectar (Peak) I like this mottling wax. Burns nice and has good scent throw. I was bored, so I played :smiley2: Click on thumbnail to enlarge.
  21. I got an email from them today about an upcoming price increase but it didn't say it was substantial. I hope it won't be too much of an increase. I guess we'll find out.
