Ok now girls.... you convinced me.. I will start a wish list for AH now (along with the 2 others that I have going that I'm pondering over..) it's a nice break from work- if you see me post too often, though, please gently remind me to return to work....

Oh darn! I just ordered a bunch of 1 ozer's from NG, but haven't tried the Toasted Marshmallow yet! May have to check out the AH version too- thanks for passing that along- oh well, what's a couple more orders? (I do like seeing the box outside my front door- feels like Christmas!!). I also had gotten in a rut of testing just a few scents- then I told myself I needed to use up the 1 ozer's I already have, so I'm trying to make myself go through those before ordering TOO many more. It does make it more fun to try out new scents. One surprise scent for me was Rose Petal and Cream (CC), I didn't think I'd like it as I don't really like flowery scents, but I had to keep sniffing this one after I poured it- really nice scent!

Love the label and packaging sisters3!! JAJC- I know you'll get revved up again... keep us posted on your testing! It's fun to try all those new scents- you'll have to post some reviews of your favorites. Susyk, you'll have to post some pics once you get your other products going. I did a bunch of testers last weekend (ok, got a little overboard, counted 30 different scents, did 2 portion cups each- wanted to test scents I've had and just hadn't put into wax yet, especially all the vanillas, I'm just a little crazy about vanilla). I'm loving the ecosoya PB/Excel combination in melts so far. I have some EL wax samples and some fo's from CC, so will try to pour some samples with these this weekend. Can you tell I needed a little diversion and fun after a super busy week at work?

Arctic Air, Warm Vanilla Oak, Mistleto and Sweet Orange and Chili Pepper are very strong in wax (soy melts)!

sweetcakes has one... it smells very fruity OOB,

oh dear, and I was just going to order some more wax and fo samples from them this week.... I need more ecosoya PB, excel and feather palm, and I want to order all from the 1 place (peak doesn't carry the excel).... may reconsider....

I've put Peak's Birthday Cake in lotion- and I smell more cake than frosting. different than when I put it in wax- I smell more frosting with the cake

Maybe find a good lip balm base? I've used the one from Sweetcakes and I really like it- nice consistency and very moisturizing. just passing along...

Lemon Spice, Citrus Kick

I'm testing CS's Chocolate Fudge right now in melts- very strong and chocolatey, yummy scent, just passing along...

I understand being overwhelmed when searching for tart wax blends- I spent a couple of hours a few weeks ago, and found over 25 combinations that people love and swear by. I've been testing the PB/excel combination and am getting wonderful results. Also testing palm and with some fo's it is working very well too, but not with others. I just decided to order a bunch of samples and got busy mixing and testing- it's been fun. I've found that making melt testers has been a good way for me to test a bunch of fo samples that I've accumulated- to see which ones I like and ones that I don't care for... Good luck! I know you'll find a good combination that works for you!

I recently gave a friend a plug in warmer and some of my melts. She's used Scentsy, told me they last about 6 hours- I told her mine have been lasting 2-3 days and her jaw dropped, and she looked at me like I had 2 heads! I have not tried scentsy yet, but tempted to buy some just to compare (part of R & D)

I just test LS Apple Strudel in melts- very strong and yummy, lasted several days! Not sure if this could replace your apple cinnamon, but this might be close! Just thought I'd pass along.... good luck!

I would take a one lb- if you decide to order! I also am trying to find a nice clean linen scent that's not too overpowering, just nice, clean/fresh.

I've been tempted too, but I think they have a $15 minumum...

What fo's are you pouring this weekend JAJC? Also, I put the Warm Vanilla Nutmeg in lotion and it smells wonderful-LOVE it, esp in cocoa butter lotion. Hope your testing goes well! I poured a bunch of small batches on New Years- will be able to test next week- wanted to try a bunch of the 1 oz'ers I have- use some of them up!!

Fairy Garden? Butterfly Garden?

I put in an order in Dec, and was not sure how it would go after reading a bunch of the negative posts here, but I did get everything and it was delivered in a timely manner. Just don't like the high prices on the WYW fo's small bottles- I get some of my wax there, but may be looking elsewhere....

I think it's the wax combination- I'm using 7.5% fo load, so not a huge load... still testing though.... but I've been happy so far....

I've been getting about 3 days, 8 hours per day, with the PB/excel blend with some fo's. Gave some to my friends today- one told me she only gets 6 hours from her Sc**tsy ones- so she'll let me know how she likes my melts (fingers crossed- hope she gets a day or more). So glad you are having success! It's fun when you get a melt that lasts that long!!
