I test for 8 hours at a time for 3 days. I expect the first 2 days to be very strong and to still be able to smell it on the third day for melts.

I use Natures Garden UV. I had my melts and candles at an outdoor craft fair over the last weekend and none of them seemed to have faded from the exposure. hth's. :-)

I had this problem with my blend and i spent tons of time trying to combat the problem and ended up realizing that hitting them with the heat gun is the fastest and easiest solution. Every time the weather changes my candles set up differently. I've spent 3 years testing testing testing and finally achieved a great candle until I started having this same problem. Save yourself the time,stress,and money and use a heat gun. I don't think you'll regret it. :-)

I understand that they don't make as much money if they offer free shipping but it would still be nice to get a deal once a year at least! I raffle candles away from time to time and i don't make any money off of those but it keeps customers happy so i gladly eat the cost every once in a while. I'm not even expecting a free shipping deal,but a discount shipping deal would be great! 15% would tickle me pink! Peak is the only company that i've seen do this. I order most of my oils from Peak but I use c3 wax and they don't carry it. I've been getting it from Fillmore. They seem to have the best rate for where i'm at. $58+$33 shipping.

I wasn't sure where to put this but here it is. It really peeves me that when a company offers a limited time free shipping deal,wax is never included and there's like a $100 minimum order?! It ticks me off so bad! The cost of wax is insane and i would love a shipping deal every once in a while! Does this bother anyone else?

I call mine Witches Brew but I also blend it with a little Twilight Woods and it sold like crazy this past fall. I agree with Candybee in that anything with good ol patch in it sells like crazy. I have Candlewic's Voodoo Love and renamed it Voodoo Child in honor of Jimi Hendrix and its my number 1 seller and one of my personal favs!

I love them! I use clear labels with only black writing and graphics also with these jars! I have a question though,what kind of lid are you using that you can fill the jars so full or are those in the pic just for show? Just curious..

I mix 25% 4786 with 75% C3.

Vanilla Bean Supreme and Fresh Cut Grass in tarts for me!

I was mixing 75% c3 and 25% 4786 and getting awesome melts with awesome throw and they popped right out of the cups.I tried to make some with straight c3(only usa added)and they wouldn't come out for poo!Then when I did get em out,it left a lot of residue in the cup.Guess it's best to stick with what you know works!Lol!

I ordered from them on a Friday and received my package on Monday,and it was even over Easter wknd!No complaints here!As far as products go,I don't expect to be able to get everything I need from the same supplier so it's not a huge deal to me if they don't carry something or other.I have had no problems with their customer service either.I had a problem with an item showing out of stock on a smaller quantity but in stock for a larger quantity so I got a hold of them and they fixed the cart right away so it would let me add the item.It's strange how some people have nothing but problems from a supplier but other customers have nothing but stellar reviews?!

I have not tried Peaks yet but I have tried NG sweet grass and it is grass like but more fresh scenty than actual grass.I have also tried BCN fresh cut grass and it does actually smell like grass.Figured I'd put that out there cuz I didn't know which type of grass smell you were looking for :-)

I've never been to Disney :-( but I do find this fascinating!I'm happy to know people are as interested in scent nostalgia as I am!More than anything,smells remind me of certain things and I link certain scents to events,places,and times in my life.Maybe that's one of the reasons i'm so drawn to candle making?Lol!Thanks for the fun fact!! :-)

CW's Voodoo Love is stuck in my nose!I got an order from them this morning and when I smelled it for the second time,my nose touched the rim of the bottle and now it's stuck in there!It's all I can smell!After my first sniff of it, I wasn't sure I liked it much but now that i've been smelling it for a few hours i'm really starting to love it!It reminds me of my old hippie dad in a way who ALWAYS WEARS PATCH,but there's something exotic about it that smells soooo good and reminds me of something that makes me happy,lol.Anyways,I can't wait to get it in wax.In my nose it smells like it will throw like the dickens,lol,and I hope it does!!!It may be my new fav!!

Has anyone tried these closeout oils?I am about to place a BCN order and figured i'd take advantage of the sale.Also,i'm looking for a "clean" scent like a clean cotton type or something similiar.Has anyone tried a closeout of theirs that might smell like this?TIA!

The suppliers I usually use carry them,like Peak and BCN.I just don't understand why some suppliers only carry certain sizes of a type of wick.I mean if you're going to carry them,why not carry every size?It just makes sense right??

Why is it that not all companies that sell htp wicks sell the size 126?Candlewic's having a shipping sale so i was getting some wax and I figured i'd get some wicks while i was at at.But naturally,they don't have the size I need!I've seen this same issue with other companies as well.Does anyone know why this is exactly?

Is it a Led Zeppelin incense type?I think i've seen them in head shops before.There's one that they have that I love and I haven't been able to find a duplicate oil ever. I have checked the FOF before and it didn't come up with anything.Sorry I couldn't help.

I'm so glad i'm not alone in the hatred for labels!I'm trying to talk my hubby into getting me a fancy new printer to hopefully curb this problem a bit.It happens all the time to me!You should've seen me during Christmas time,trying to print up fancy new X-Mas themed address labels!Holly Jolly Christmas my as*!I was like a tyrant,cussing like a sailor and throwing sheets of misprinted labels around!My husband probably thinks i'm a psycho path after seeing the menial things that get me worked up!I let big things just roll off my back, but something like off centered labels gets my blood boiling!Because it's such a simple, supposedly easy thing, that ALWAYS jacks up somehow!

So,I sometimes trade my hairdresser sister in law haircuts for tarts.I am about to bring her some and I just started making them in the dart cups.I thought it would be nice to play around and design a label,print some up,and stick those suckers on my fancy new cups. I go to Walmart and get Avery round labels.They were $7 for 5 sheets of 12!(Geesh!)But,whatever,I just needed a few to play with. I got my design done,tested a page,and all looked good.I proceeded to print my "for real" sheet and fabulouso..it worked like a dream!(I was marveling like an idiot and showing them off to my husband as if I cured cancer or something!)Lol! Anyways,I do a reprint to make another sheet and blah!Off center like a mother!Trashed that sheet.Realign and try again..blah!Off again!So,i've wasted 2 out of 5 sheets of these expensive labels and I want to throw my pos printer through the window and call it a night! I think when I decide to sell,I will pay someone to print my labels for me because this is a serious PAIN IN THE ASS! Sorry..I had to vent!

So,i'm a goof.I poured some tarts the other day,using the last of an 8 oz bottle I had.I threw the bottle away.Now i'm not sure if it was Jamaica Me Crazy or Butt Naked.I have read the descriptions of both oils over and over and still can't figure it out.The scent I poured smells fruity and kinda nutty.Any thoughts?I know i'm not giving much help here,my apologies,lol.

My husband used to have gobs of colognes and smelly stuffs when I met him and he was dating this high maintenance b*tch but after we got together and the bottles eventually ran out,he just stopped using smelly stuff for a while.Then he started using Axe sprays and deodorant.He never tried anything new until just recently he was at Walmart and came home with a lemongrass and grape seed oil body wash and he was just so proud of himself.(Doesn't it smell so good,and aren't those little beads in there the sh*t!Lol!)I see that it had to be "his" idea to try something new,and not me saying,sweety,you stink or something!Lol! Also,When I make candles and tarts,he's putting his 2 cents in and i'm like,sweety,I value your opinion,but frankly it's a stupid one.I don't tell you how to change the brakes on the car do I? Let's just stick to what we both know k?Lol!
