  1. I hope this is ok and doesn't come across spammy, but I work for a company that sells coconut related products and my boss asked me to find some coconut inspired products to offer at our high end events. We need them to be stickered with our logo (though we're not claiming to make them by any means). Something great quality, with a fast turnaround time (and the ability to do a lot, if required, possibly on short notice). Anyways, when he asked me to look into coconut oil related products, my first thought was etsy, and here....I learned so much from here, I would love to help 'pay back' the community! Warning: My boss is a PITA but it would be super fun! Please , please let me know if this isn't allowed. I just knew you ladies work hard to perfect your products and we're obviously very concerned with having something GOOD! You can PM me or email me directly at jmccutcheon250@gmail.com Cheers; Jessica.
  2. The plug ins are fantastic. It's the full sized one, mainly with the squared tops that I was having issue with! I ordered that one for my next show. It's super cute!
  3. It's craaaazy. I saw like $40 for a sample size of Chamomile (which would obviously be great for sleep). Holy smokes. Maybe I'll do a lavender EO bear since I have some and don't use it often but jeeze, I don't know how people use EO for anything other than personal use! I can always make note that I can make them with EO's but that there is an extra fee.
  4. Holy smokes, after seeing the price of chamomile EO, I don't think I could sell a bear for less than $50! LOL! I knew oils were pricy but holy smokes!
  5. I'm going to be adding some scent sachet stuffed animals soon. I'm about to order the plush but got thinking; would it be better to use essential oils or do you think fragrance oils would be fine? I know EO's would jack the price up since they are expensive but I'd willing to do it if it's better. Anyone know if the big name uses regular oils?
  6. I have been thinking about trying my hand at making lip balm and maybe eventually bath bombs. Wasn't sure if they would be weird along side of my melts though. At the same time, it might be nice to have a little something for the people who aren't melt lovers... I'm trying to talk myself out of it because, in all honesty, the melts are an expensive enough of a hobby! I just sell at a handful of fairs a year and whenever from the house.
  7. Weird question! Will the oil seep out of play dough or would it be ok? Anyone have any idea?
  8. That is so awesome!!! I've had a couple people ask me recently if I'd do one. Did you offer any hostess gift/bonus or anything? I was thinking of offering like a percentage for the hostess back to use to shop. Maybe 10% or something...
  9. OMG, little toilet bombs you could sell in cute little tubes, aimed towards new couples who are embarrassed of going to the bathroom with their significant other around would be sooooo awesome!! I know that's not the direction of this it's but I could totally see my 18 year old self wishing for one! LOL
  10. Winter wonderland is great, I agree! Cracklin' birch, cinnamon & Spruce, Christmas Cabin Sugared spruce is nice I'm totally blanking.... Vanilla bean noel or Mrs Claus' cookies are amazing. Island Christmas is a really popular scent for me.
  11. Pics, the label, the design of the site. If it's on etsy, it has to be able to grab my attention from the small pics for me to click on it. Something different.
  12. The peach one was great! I just don't know how much space she's expecting to scent with a small plugin??!!
  13. Has anyone else had issues getting good throw/lasting time for this one? I wonder if maybe it's just where I bought mine from. (NG). I think the first time I got it from AH. I got great strength and throw last year but this year it dies out quickly. Not doing anything different from my other melts. I wonder if maybe this is one of the oils that do better with less per lb?
  14. I make melts, this wax is definitely too soft to hold shape. I did try to re-add some oil just for kicks to see what would happen and it's the same. Ah well. Tis the season for fire starters! LOL! I needed to make some more anyways. I'll have some brown sugar and fig and some apple pie ones! Maybe I'll grab some pinecones, make them cute and market them as room scenting fire starters.
  15. I always dump my hot wax off into an old vegetable tin can! Easy because you can tip it upwards to meet the melter and then I use that wax for fire starters when I have enough!
