  1. I'm trying to find info on some wax that someone is trying to sell to me and it looks like Dussek Campbell is no more when I search the internet. The wax is in a box and is labeled 7009 wax and underneath it is 4773. Does anyone know anything about this wax? I figure it might be something I use for firestarters but want to know what I'm getting before purchasing it.
  2. What's going on with BC lately. I've noticed they don't carry as much and their customer service has gone down. They used to be one of my favorite suppliers but I'm starting to go more towards other suppliers. Very disappointing.
  3. I just wanted to give a heads up on Woodland Marketing. I paid for the order when I placed it but then got a bill for a balance due. I called their customer service to find out what the charge was for and the girl couldn't tell me but said she would check and call me back. Wait 3 hours and called back again but got an answering machine and left a message. Call back this afternoon after no response to find out what was going on. Asked what the charge was for and the girl got a little bit argumentive with me when I said it would've been nice for the bill to state what the charge was for. I explained to her that in today's world and all of the fraud that a Paypal request for funds should clearly state what the request is for. Anyway, if you order from them, be aware that there might be another charge on top of what you've already paid. Now I just hope I like the display.
  4. Thanks for the replies. Those Woodfields molds look great but, wow, they are expensive. TexasBrat, I can't wait to hear how you like the WSP molds. Did they bow when you poured your soap into it? The one from SoapHutch looks great too!
  5. Thanks! I don't have an iPhone or iPad but it looks like I should consider getting one in the future.
  6. I'm wondering where everyone is buying log molds from now that Upland closed. I guess I should go back to wooden molds now but am having a hard time finding them too. Any recommendations? Thanks!
  7. I would be careful with making room sprays with alchohol due to flashpoints. The flashpoint is extremely low and could be hazardsous if someone didn't use it properly.
  8. I loved your video. What type of program did you use to add music and the graphic? I'm getting ready to open a brick and mortar store and would love to do something like this.
  9. I've ordered from the first 3 companies mentioned and have received excellent service from each one. Go with whomever is cheapest.
  10. I would like to get into doing some fundraisers within the community and am thinking about having a jar specifically for fundraisers only. I was looking at the 4 oz jelly jars because I can get them locally and to keep costs down. Does anyone else do this? I want to start out with approaching organizations such as the Humane Society, a facility that works with mentally/physically challenged adults, an organization that raises money to purchase shoes for school kids who come from poor homes, etc. Also, does $8.50 sound like too much for the organization to sell them at? I was going to give them $4 from each sale. Will people pay $8.50 for this size candle? I was only going offer them 2 or 3 different scents to chose from. Thoughts, please.
  11. I'd like to message with you. We are thinking of opening a store.
  12. Welcome back! I too just started coming back after being gone for awhile. Love this place.
  13. I hadn't heard of this supplier before. Has anyone bought from them? How are their oils?
  14. Richard, I was looking at your pictures again and it looks like you have individual tarts on one of the tables and at the far end, large jars with tarts. How are you selling them since they are set up in different ways. Just curious.
