  1. Wow...am I reading that right? $6.00 for .33 ounces? I may just try a blend to see if I can come close. I found a description on B&B site for the Marshmallow Fireside and its: Celebrate the changing season with a warm mixture of marshmallows, smoldering woods and creamy vanilla reminiscent of a cozy evening 'round the bonfire. We don't carry a Fireside FO or Marshmallow FO, but will order those samples in to try a blend with the Vanilla we have on hand. Their description for Autumn is: Get festive this fall with our heartwarming fragrance that unites the beloved, autumnal scents of dark pomegranate, sweet red apple and woodsy fir bal....we have a Pomegranate FO, an Apple FO, but not sure about is the "woodsy fir balsam"...Sounds like it could just be a Christmas Tree scent?
  2. I've searched a couple supplier sites, but so far can't find them. I just had a request for them. Are these new this year?
  3. I just saw this thread and wanted to add a comment. We are in eight shops and do both Consignment and Wholesale. Wholesale is nice because we get paid up front and it's usually a nice size order. We are in two Consignment Shops, and we do well with both of them. We price our products so, after the owners cut, we make at least wholesale...(one shop we make more than that). It's nice to get checks each month from the two shops. So the combination of both Consignment and Wholesale work for us. Something will come along for you for sure. As ksranch said...hang in there!
  4. Hot Orange Danish (NG) Pumpkin Souffle (CS) Cinnamon Sticks (CS) Pumpkin Pie Spice (NG) Cranberry Apple Marmalade (Peaks) Apples & Maple Bourbon (CS) Spiced Cranberry (NG) Cinnamon Buns (CS) Cherry Crumb Pie (NG) Banana Nut Bread (CS and NG) Creme Brulee (CS) Apple Jack & Peel (Peaks)
  5. We carried NG's Indian Sandalwood and it didn't really move that well for us (HP Soap)...it was just ok. So we picked up Hawaiian Sandalwood from Tradewinds and like it alot more. Just started soaping with it and see how it moves...so far so good
  6. We've used NG and CS Twigs & Berries. NG also carries Tayberry & Teakwood which smells like Twigs & Berries also
  7. We do both Consignment and Wholesale. One of the shops we are in carry both our soap and candle line. In the beginning, she used our displays, and then as the line/scent selections grew, she changed out displays. We were fortunate to not have to deal with an agreement. She was just the type of person that was honest/dependable and returned everything. But yeah, I'd leave the displays with an agreement to play it safe. I like both Consignment and Wholesale. Nice to get monthly checks in the mail from the Consignment Shops and then the Wholesale accts is one big lump sum....always good to help purchase materials for restocking
  8. We loved WSP...great products, great scents, wonderful customer service. But when they did the "free shipping"...we jumped ship. Everyone knows the shipping isn't free. We all know the price of the item is sooo jacked up so the shipping cost can be covered. Shortly after they offered this "deal", I needed to place an order and decided to just check to see the cost...and started adding the items to my cart. After just a couple of items I knew it was going to be outrageous. But, I continued to add all items to the cart. Then, decided to go elsewhere to check pricing...the difference was over $200.00. Now...if they went back to being fair...I'd go back and order some cool sounding products. There's just too many other great suppliers out there ... it takes some time and research to fine exactly what you need and from whom, but worth it.
  9. From AH...Blue Skies, Little Black Dress, Intense Almond, Rosemary Mint, Lavender Vanilla. From CS... Coconut Lime Verbena, Oakmoss & Amber, Lavender, Love Spell, Sex on the Beach and Jamaica Me Crazy
  10. Pumpkin Souffle is our biggest seller by far during the Fall and Winter months. We have our candles in a shop and the owner called me constantly to let me know they needed more. No matter how many i took, it never seemed to be enough. I'm stocking up on them for this season!!
  11. shifichik...so glad I found this thread. We're getting ready to order shrink wrap tubing/or bags for tarts. Can you tell me the size that you said these fit perfectly? Are they 3"? We also use the same mold as kforbs126
  12. Bumping this...I just received a newsletter from them offering a 4 oz bottle each of Lemon EO, Orange EO AND Tangarine EO when a $100.00 order is placed. Was just checking to see if anyone has used any of these Essential Oils or any other Essential Oils like Lavender or Grapefruit and what your opinions are?
  13. I am so happy to hear this. We just ordered this and excited to see how it performs in our HP soap. We're also going to be pouring this in our 8 ounce Mason jars with a blend of 464/4630 and again with PB in clamshells. Can't wait.
  14. I love Cucumber Wasabi Cilantro from NG. It's an absolutely beautiful spa-like fragrance. It does fantastic in HP and we sell alot of it.
  15. Top seller for us is Black Canyon hands down.
  16. We've soaped their White Lily & Amber. I absolutely love it and it moves pretty well for us.
  17. Thanks for your input everybody. I shared the link of this post with her so she could read your comments. We were out running errands yesterday and I picked up a couple of beading magazines and Holy Cow...the amount of companies advertising is unbelievable. Lots of companies, beads and ideas...thanks again guys
  18. Just went back to IFRA's website to get a better understanding of their guidelines, etc. After reading a few of the links...it all makes better sense now. So...Nevermind (I so badly wanted to make this work bc we love it in soap...so we'll continue to blend our own)
  19. Maybe one of you can explain...Do you remember the posts recently on Honeysuckle Jasmine from CS suddenly being candles only and no longer b&b safe? At the time of this being discussed, I emailed CS and they responded and said that the formulation of the fragrance oil did not change, that it's the same. But only the standards of IFRA. So, if that oil was ok for bath and body then, why can't it be used now? I could see it if it was a change in the formulation of the actual fragrance oil production. Am I missing something? So many of us used that in our soaping, and based on the new IFRA updates, either have found a new supplier, mixed our own or still searching. Any thoughts?
  20. Thanks guys. I appreciate your input. She just placed some orders yesterday and today. @ Kitn...She said, with regard to firemountaingems, "Oh man, that site is dangerous!"...LOL! I had to laugh because we all know that feeling, don't we!? She just made a few of these and they are already sold. And, more orders are coming in. We went out to run errands a little bit ago and people are asking about her jewelry. I'm very excited for her. Thanks again
  21. Our daughter is starting to make jewelry. She has invested in some supplies already, and has made the bracelets pictured. Can any of you suggest an online supplier that truly whoesales that you are pleased with? She is checking out ebay and amazon and is busy checking out other sites...but wanted to see if y'all had any suggestions. She purchased some stuff at Michaels just to get started, but soon realized that the mark up is too much and needs to go into a more wholesale way of buying. Any suggestions?
  22. Awesome Candybee...I haven't ordered anything from Moonworks or Southern Soapers yet. I'm gonna go check out their sites again. And Beezy...I'm getting ready to restock Little Black Dress...and a few others from AH/RE, so I'm going to order in some Sea Kelp. Thank you both
  23. Thanks josie1091 for your input....I continued to search the board for what I was looking for and finally ran across some posts that helped. I knew there had been some suggestions that had not been put into the "Scents that Rock in CP" section. So I went back and forth between the suppliers reviews and the board. And yeah, it's always important to make sure they are b&b safe....that's why I freaked out when CS changed their Honeysuckle Jasmine to Candles only (along with a few others) And I wish Brambleberry and OT were closer...we're clear on the southeast coast and shipping would be crazy. Thanks again
