    Tarts

Hi Lynn, I sell my tarts in a 6 pack for $6.00. I feel that $1 per tart is very fair... don't undersell yourself ....you work/have worked very hard to make an excellent product!! Another thing to think of is if you price your product too low, your customers may think they are getting a cheap product. Do you also sell the tart/jar warmers? Maybe offer different warmers and maybe also do a combo sell of the two items together? Buy some pretty jars that would be good to use for the warmers and make some wickless. People LOVE different things for their homes. YOU AND YOUR PRODUCTS ARE MUCH BETTER than any ole Walmart or cheap flea market. Believe it or not there are folks out there that DON'T have a clue what a tart or tart warmer is....you may need to educate your customers and bring them into the tart/tart warmer world....get them hooked on your product and make them want more. I also would tell your customers that they may be able to get tarts / candles/ whatever cheaper at a flea market, but they also WON'T get the quality product from there that you have and offer! Don't give up....make a plan!! :smiley2:
  2. Those soaps look awesome!!! I love the colors!! I'd like to have one of those right now and go take a hot shower!!
  3. Beautiful job and thanks for sharing your wonderful talent with us!!!! Yep...we've got a star in the house!!
  4. I use a double burner hot plate for melting my wax for repours (I place my pour pot into a pan of hot water to heat). I also have a griddle.... it is an excellent jar warmer , I put down thick alum foil to cover the whole griddle surface, then place paper towels down on top of that (I never leave unattended because of this) and then place jars on upside down , and then totally cover the jars w/long sheets of aluminum foil to keep them warm. I set the temp at 125 for warming my jars. I also warm my votive cups on it. You can level pillars on it. You can also place your wax utensils, pots, etc on it to melt the wax off of them. Just lots of great ways to use them!
  5. Those are beautiful colors!! Perfect for Spring !!
  6. hee heee:laugh2:....it took me awhile to find these boogers too..... happy to see your laughing smiley!!!
  7. Hey Dillypooh, After you click on reply to thread...look to the right and you will see "go advanced" ...click on that...smiley faces etc to be found there. I am going to try them out this week too!!! So excited!!! WHOO HOOO!!!
  8. Well Mindy...you're not going to like my answer :tiptoe: BUT I sell the the hot plate warmers, the light bulb warmers and the plug in night light tart warmers. I have had customers buy all three types. I believe that there is a customer base for all of them...it just depends on what they are looking for. I love them all!:smiley2:
  9. Thank you Camay for the heads up !! We appreciate you!!
  10. I hear ya Minx!! It seems that every December when I have my orders almost complete, I end up having to order 1 or 2 things to complete them. I just want to pull my hair out because I KNOW that it is going to cost me $15 shipping to just order a couple of things.....drives me crazy!! It is just so darned painful right now with these shipping prices!!
  11. Wow!!! I just love the colors!!! Beautiful!!
  12. Hee hee....hear ya on the getting mad and squeezing the bottle really hard :rolleyes2...been there done that. I love my liquid dyes and will never use anything else because all of my recipes are based on the drops and I love the results I get from the liquid dyes. When my dye bottle starts doing the same thing, I shove a toothpick up in it, then put the lid on it and shake it good. Then it will work ok for a little while and then gets difficult again...then I do the same thing ...I just try to baby it until I get so tired of dealing with it..I just order another one to replace it...:smiley2:
  13. I haven't done it, but sounds like an awesome idea!!! I expect a LOT of peope on this site will start doing just that. Several years ago I went to a scrapbook store and bought several different sizes of hole punches to use for my hang tags and gift cards. It's great to have another great use for them! What a great idea!! Thanks for sharing!
  14. WOW, WOW AND WOW !!!!!! Absolutely beautiful soaps!!! Congrats on mastering the swirls!!:smiley2:
  15. After you get them Dillypooh....we want a review please...
  16. Shipping right now is killer and sounds like it is going to get worse as time goes on this year. Like Pam said, I would order more if you are able to, if not just close your eyes as you push the button to process your order. If you are making candles to sell with these.. you should be able to make up your total costs on this purchase. From what folks have posted on here, it sounds like you can't possibly lose on Peak's scents. If I wanted the scents bad enough I would just grit my teeth and purchase them. Think positive....these scents could become your best sellers!
  17. Wow!!!! Those are beautiful....great job!!! Yea!!!

  19. Beautiful!!! We need smell-o-vision!!!
  20. None of my lids are lined...actually the manufacturer does not give me the option of lined lids. That said, the lids that I have used for years work perfectly for me and my customers.
  21. Hi Dana, I am wanting to make the gel pies this Spring and have never made them before and am curious about testing the oils for polarity too. Thanks for asking about this.
