  1. Thank you Candybee! Like I've said before its part of the job and I know some people don't like the outdoor shows for that very reason but when it's good I get totally hooked. The customers and making the sell. I get into it! Yes I've seen some reports but it looks like it's going to stay in the mid 60's here in Atlanta. Perfect fall weather! I hope your shows go well too!! Good luck to us both and everyone else that's doing shows!
  2. Wasn't allowing me to view on mobile devices so I just reposted the video here.
  3. So I finally recieved my second rain out ever. I was hoping for the best but it didnt end up going our way this time. Fortunately it ended upo not being a show I will return to and I rather it be that show than the one I'm doing this weekend. Its a big show and I want to do well. I made a short video because I know how some of you all like listening to me ramble on. LOL! I through in a twist and added some fun commentary along the way. I hope you like it and maybe it will help some of the crafters here on what to do and not to do if it ever rains on them. 4. Congrats on your successful show! I had a show as well and it rained on us big time! Ugh! going to post the video finally.
  5. Oh my goodness Candybee! I'm sorry that happened. I have been praying for good weather for us all. It rained the entire weekend here and there were two big festivals I know of. I wanted to go check one out but didn't get out in the weather. I did hear a rumor that some shows were cancelled because of the rain. I have often wondered what the show officials would say if anyone were to say they wouldn't show up because of the rain. I couldn't see setting my entire display up knowing it was just going to rain the entire time and be there with no customers.
  6. I'm interested to see what sells this coming weekend. I've never done this particular show and looking forward to seeing the different tastes. In my experience the Atlanta area is not to keen on scents that are too sweet so I have very few "bakery" type candles. Creme brûlée is about my best seller out of that category. Fresh/ clean/ fruity/ woodsy/ herbal are what these folks like.
  7. Thank you! I transferred the pics from my phone to my computer first. Strange it said from an iPhone.
  8. Thank you Moonshine! I've got 3 back to back starting next weekend. I feel so bad for the shows that were this weekend. It has rained basically the entire weekend here. That's the price unfortunately.
  9. Everything looks amazing! I would definitely need some soap from you. Great job and wonderful looking display and products!
  10. Thank you Daisey! I wish I could make videos everyday too. Sometimes pouring candles is really boring to watch. As long as I think it's interesting I will film it. I have another show the weekend after this one so pray for no rain.
  11. AH/RE has an amzing Maple Bacon and tested amazing in soy if you use that wax. The burn is more sweet and smoky and less bacony. I sold it at last years fall shows and it was a hit with the men... women not so much. Lol!
  12. Thank you Candybee! Looking forward to the next one in a couple of weeks. Pray for no rain!
  13. Here's the video! Hope you enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1X__I0liS00
  14. Thats wonderful! Congratulations on a great weekend! My new scents did fairly well but I had alot to choose from. The one that did the least was Pumpkin Apple but I have 3 more fall shows so I should sell them all by then. Christmas Hearth from CS did amazing! My new favorite too! Here's a pic of my display. I'll get the video up in a bit. Its only about 3min.

  17. Just got a pound of it and it smells like soap which is not what I was hoping for. I know that was what many said it smelled like so idk what to do with it. Anyone want it?
  18. Thank you everyone for the well wishes. It was a wonderful weekend and we did amazing!! Best year at this show we've ever had! I have been doing inventory today (so boring) but I promise to post pictures and a short video soon. ;-)
  19. I've used this in candles for a blend. It's a nice medium HT in soy.
  20. Thank you Candybee! Good luck to you as well. I hope you sell lots too!
  21. Our first fall craft show of the season is this sat/sun here in GA. Really excited and it's our 4th year so we've built up a following or at least in my head we have lol! Debuting our fall line too with 4 new scents so fingers crossed everyone likes them! I'm hoping to post pics and maybe a video too! Wish me luck!
  22. Purchased a 16oz bottle of Redwood & Cedar. I hope it's awesome. I am mainly using it for blending. Fingers crossed!
