  1. I'm glad to hear you are pouring Holiday Festival. I read some not so good reviews on the Peak site. I really wanted to like BCN Perfect Pumkin but I can't. I have a 4oz bottle that I will never use. Maybe I can blend it with something. As for me I am done making all my candles for the craft show season. 47 cases worth! I'm sure I'll make a case or two more of some scents but hopefully I've planned ahead this year well. My fall scents are Mac Apple, Butternut Pumpkin, Sage & Cinnamon, Coffee Shoppe, Orange Cranberry Scone, & Maple Bacon ;-)
  2. I generally wait a week before testing but like OldGlory said sometimes 2 weeks is even better before you do a first test.
  3. Thank you for the shout out! I came up with this a blend kinda on the fly from a bunch of samples I had. I'm not sure on the % of anything but I used these FO Bonfire Bliss Any Pumpkin with not much spice Apple Autumn harvest Cider A bit of citrus Never could think of a good name though :-(
  4. So how much should I fill the bottle with vinegar? Completely full? Then do I sit the bottle in a sauce pot with water surrounding it and boil it?
  5. So I've read a thread on reusing glass bottles and how to clean them. The last FO in the bottle was a coffee blend and I cleaned that out and have sprayed the inside with rubbing alcohol. It is completely dry inside now but has the tiniest scent of sweetness left plus the smell of the rubbing alcohol too. I want to mix a floral blend in this bottle. So my question is- Will the new scent be affected at all by the alcohol smell or the original FO? Thanks for any help.
  6. Thank you all for the help in finding a name. I think I like the Christmas Cottage. :-)
  7. I really love this scent but not the name. Would anyone share their ideas on another name that may be unique but still describe this scent? Thanks!
  8. Butternut Pumpkin from Lonestar is amazing! Hardly any spice at all. I sold out of it last year at my fall shows.
  9. Yay!!!! Well that is some good news at least. I don't really buy from WSP but my customers last year were dying for a cinnamon candle and I was really bummed when the CW version was not available after I had done my testing.
  10. I'm working on this scent for the 3rd time now and even though I have wicked up twice it doesn't give a strong enough HT for me. I may try RE version and see how it does.
  11. I did find some at WSP and purchased 2lb. It had good reviews on it in my soy wax from others. I hope I can test this scent again and be ready for my fall shows :-/
  12. I just called and they said it's completely sold out.
  13. Another fragrance sage and cinnamon from CW is discontinued after I've tested it!! Dang!
  14. Any ideas or thoughts how this process is made and can be called MP? I wonder how it feels on the skin? http://www.newdirectionsaromatics.com/rebatch-mp-soap-base-block-p-2361.html?utm_source=June+27+Newsletter+2014&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=June+27+Newsletter+2014
  15. The MW version has a bit more pumpkin and the LS version is a bit more citrus but they are similar but definitely have small differences. Personally I like the LS version better.
  16. Lonestar has a nice version of Fall Featival too! It was ok in my wax but I use soy.
  17. Yes I did get that one. I was too and glad I did. It has a fresh herbal smell to it OOB. Maybe a bit of a cologne note in there too. I don't know your tastes but I believe you may like it.
  18. Received my order for several of the new FO! They are really good!! I'll post OOB reviews a little later. The (edited) sale on these new FO only ends June 30th
  19. I tried the cotton ball trick to soak up some of the wax to expose the wick more and that did help a lot. Unfortunately I can't expect a customer will know about or want to go to the trouble of doing that.
  20. Haha Moonshine! I'm testing Beach Linen too! I just poured it and went ahead and wicked up because the FO is a bit thicker than normal. I wonder if I may need to mix my own lav/ Cham blend to get a good wick burn?
  21. Does anyone have trouble wicking this scent? I went up on my wick and it still has a difficult time with small flames and a MP that doesn't get to full. I guess I'm going to have to go up one more. If anyone has used this in soy and had trouble wicking it I'd love to know your experience. Thanks!
  22. I haven't ordered but will be ordering this week before the sale ends.
  23. Yea I needed some more lavender. I like to grind it up into a powder for soaps. I'll have to try the water misters idea! :-)
